Speaking of baby sizes, the twins had their 2 month checkup today. DD now weighs exactly what DS1 weighed at birth, lol. DS2 is a pound heavier. I'm so not used to having kids in the 2-5%tile range.

Took DS1 on a "date" to his preschool fundraiser, while H stayed home with a sick DS2. The crowds made him so anxious, he didn't really have much fun, though. It's hard to watch him wanting to have fun but being so overwhelmed by an unfamiliar environment and strangers that he just freaks out.
The one bright spot was the appearance of the Queen Elsa and Princess Anna that came. He was completely dumbstruck by their existence in real life and made me carry him around to stare at them for ages. We waited in line to meet them but he totally melted down when face to face with Elsa, poor baby. Guess I won't have to waste time on meet and greets when we finally make it to Disney!

Tomorrow night I'm going to a Trivia night with neighbors. I feel like I should be studying, but I've never been to one, so I'm not sure what to expect.
DD just woke up crying, inconsolable until she spotted the bottle leftover from her pre-dinner milk that we forgot to put away. She's an addict. It instantly quieted her down and she fell back asleep. Part of my anxiety stems from MIL being here. We asked her to come up because I thought I was going to attend a course on Friday, but I wound up not going and made some progress on work stuff instead. But I came home to see DD's diaper hanging off her butt because it hadn't been changed in 3 hours and that kind of stuff makes me rage. MIL started telling me about all the diapers she did change as if that would get her a pass for not noticing this one. And my husband didn't notice either because he shuts down when MIL is around expecting her to do all the baby-rearing. He's actually a much better parent when IL's are out of the picture.
I can't wait for 5 days/wk daycare. I love DD's daycare and all the teachers there. I want to give them all hugs, even the ones that aren't her teachers.
I actually cooked dinner tonight. I made kick ass three cheese nachos (broken taco shells, refried beans, Cheddar, Colby Jack, Cotija crumble, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and guac) with a side of rice ad corn. Mr. Kirkette made the Blue CuraƧao Margaritas to pair with the dish. I should've made more.
Tonight, we're either going to start screening the tv show, or watching more Archer.
This sounds beyond amazing. It may be what I need to eat for lunch tomorrow.
I need outfits for the kids for Easter (when we will take family pics) and school pics (just the kids). Are these outfits ok? The blue/purple would be for Easter because DH and I have clothes that match whereas we don't have anything yellow. (Ashley&Scott)
