Hi all. Welcome! I used to be active on this board before I had my daughter. She's 14 months now, and after we move this summer, I hope to become more active here again.
We have a pretty active Outlander group here, though most posts are made on Married Life. We talk about both the show and the books.
I can't keep up with the speed on ML but I binge watched Outlander season 1 when it was streaming free 2 weeks ago(?). Having read the books I wasn't expecting to be as disturbed as I was. It was intense.
Right?! I haven't watched any of season 2 yet, but the end of season 1 was seriously hard to watch, even knowing exactly what was coming. I've only read through Fiery Cross. I've been spacing out the series over a couple of years.
Books read in 2009: 112 Books read in 2010: 153 Books read in 2011: 160 Books read in 2012: 134 Books read in 2013: 110 Books read in 2014: 151 Books read in 2015: 153 Books read in 2016: 91
Yay! I'm glad the move has been made. I hated the format of the nest. I've been posting on MMM here for a few years now. Hopefully I can start posting here more now too. If this baby parasite ever decides to let me feel up to reading again. I was babyRN (and some numbers? It's been a while) on NBC.

Hello everybody! Although I hadn't posted there in ages, I was Nova726 on the Nest.
I'm creeping up on 36, no kids, 2 dogs. I have a long drive to work these days so most of my reading is audiobooks, I try to physically read some at night and on weekends.
I'm currently reading(/listening to) The Stand by Stephen King, and I'm looking for a good YA book for the evenings.

You made it! I saw your post over there, but couldn't get logged in.
Jumping in to say hi before the intro thread completely dies! I posted pretty regularly on NBC a couple of years back when the board was more active. Then it kind of died off, which was sad. I check in there every now and again to see if anyone is talking about anything good because I've gotten a lot of great book recs from that group! I've lurked here a time or two also for the same reason. I just saw that the groups are converging, yay! So... hi!
Hi, I have been a lurker for a while now. I love coming here for ideas when I need help figuring out what to read next.
I am a 35 year old stay at home mom to two young kids. With school and all the kids' activities coming to an end for the summer I figure that this is a good time to come out of lurking.

Welcome! What do you like to read?
I'll read just about anything. I tend to really like WW2 novels, travel novels, and mysteries. However, when in the right mood I like romance novels and YA. Some of my favorite books include: To Kill a Mockingbird, Circling the Sun, Secrets of a Charmed Life, Book Thief, A Man Called Ove, Outlander Series, Cormoran Strike Novels, Inspector Gamanche novels.....
