10. In my defense, I haven't seen a great many of these movies either. Plus, I'm going to pout that P&P&Zombies is on the list but not P&P...or any number of other classics for that matter.

I've read 52. There's about another handful that are on my to-read list, including Me Before You and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I want to see both of those in the next few months.
Out of curiosity, I checked and have seen 54 of the films. There's a lot less overlap between those two numbers than I'd expect!
Ooh that's interesting. I've seen 72 and have read 52. There were quite a few that I've read and haven't seen and seen and haven't read. Some aren't out yet, like Me Before You and Girl on the Train.
I find "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" to be an odd book on this list. It's not a novel or a story, so much as a short list of the beasts - it's more like a collection of encyclopedia entries - and the movie is going to be nothing like that.

I was wondering about this one. The movie isn't out yet (right?), so it seems weird to put it on the list.
