I like all olives except the wrinkled black ones. Green? Good. Kalamata? Good. Small? Good. Big and bright green? Good. Garlic stuffed? Good. Wrinkled black? Nasty and foul.

I am noting the haters. Do I want to invite you to my party so I can have all the delicious, deliciously salty tray of awesome to myself, or invite my fellow olive-loving peeps so se can indulge and mock the haters?
Generally I love all olives so much. That said, black olives that come in cans are disgusting. So I steer clear of black at a lot of pizza places, salad bars, etc. I don't have the same revulsion towards cheap green olives, which are fine. I thought I hated black olives for years because I only ever knew the cheap nasty ones.

Maybe this is my problem with green olives? I have only tried cheap nasty ones.
I much prefer good black or Kalamata (I thought they were still considered black?) but I can still enjoy small amounts of canned black olives.
