Oh I have a fun Scotty story! Who remembers when she was all pissed off that she couldn't just go scoop up a Haitian orphan after the big earthquake? She was so offended. This is an actual quote: "I've held a black child and knew that I could mother it."
Which is funny because it is the exact dynamic she has with her mom that she complains about. She is the older one and her sister is the younger loved one.
The treatment of J has bugged me for a really long time. I feel bad for her that there is going to Be a third sibling to overshadow her.
I could feel how annoyed she was with J all the time. And when she would complain about her, it was just normal kid/toddler stuff. But in the next sentence it was how great E was and how she would sleep, stay quiet, etc.
I stopped going into those posts. It was uncomfortable to watch.
Yup me too
I also was too chicken shit to put her to task. I just ignored.

This is disgusting. Who the hell do you think you are? Tamb? Scotty? 32flavors? What is wrong with you? This is sick and twisted behavior. How can you people be raising children in this world?

I read all 14 fucking page and wow, just wow. I don't understand how anyone can think it's okay to throw such an ugly word around just like that and for some to think it's no biggie

So, not a crazy, white, entitled lady at all!
but she says all that fun stuff about her poops and periods and stuff.
I also think all of us white people need to think harder about what @stilljustash pointed out upthread and what other WOC have been saying for a while. The WOC are the ones catching all this stuff and pointing it out. AND YET:
It's wasn't until a white poster called people out on MMM that people noticed or cared.
It wasn't until a white poster called people out on ML that people noticed or cared.
It wasn't until a white poster called people out on April 2012 that people noticed or cared.
This just isn't right, guys. PLENTY OF US ARE SEEING THESE HATEFUL WORDS ABD POSTS. Either you don't notice it, WHICH IS BAD, or you leave it for someone else to call out, WHICH IS BAD.
This bears repeating. It's not Black people's job to be on alert and make extra damn sure foolish white people aren't acting out again. Are folks just sitting around trying to outdo each other with who can be the most foolish racist fucknut that ever lived? Doesn't this foolishness get tiring? What's next? There shouldn't even be a next, like a long damn time ago. It's sure as shit exhausting for the POC that not only see it for what it truly is, but live it.
This is a merry-go-round of bad dreams. POC want none of it. We don't want to stand in line or ride it. We want the fuck off, but white people keep insisting it's a ride we need to be on. What a clusterfuck.
Get your people, and if they show you they can't read and apply what they read, do what needs to be done. Have none of it. Because POC aren't havin' it. Not yesterday. Not today. Not ever.

Told you it was a fun story! Bitches be crazy. When was that, 2010? I forget nothing.
Yes the earthquake was in 2010. I know for a fact I never read that thread because my memory fails me often with the foolishness that goes on here, but I wouldn't have forgotten that.
Bitches be crazy for real and it's cool around all these boards.

I've been wondering who was going to take the title for biggest dumb ass, but it's an ever moving target.
Hell it's hit Tamb a few times, but clearly scottyderp has been vying for it for awhile too.
You're not done with the thread are you?
Here's the thing... I could name tons of people who I consider to be overt or not so overt racists over the course of discovery in the past few days but that's not what interests me.
What interests me is the post count of some of these posters and their likes. I have a hard time believing these are situations that occurred once, and are only in the memories of certain posters (although that's likely true). There were others who participated in those conversations and when the comments were made were they not called out? Based on the response here, it's clear they weren't. Now my question was who participated in those threads because to me those people should be looking in the mirror also.
I probably need to step back, b/c honestly I don't know who responded and who didn't but I'm guessing there is a lot more self reflection that needs to occur offline.
dammit, i can't remember scotty's sn before scottydont. i was trying to find this quote 05 speaks of lol.
scottydeux, I think?
But I think she deactivated that SN and all the posts were erased. In the Fashion Police post, the only ones from the scottydeux SN (or caps' old SN) that you could read were the ones that had been quoted by other posters.
