Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? Trying not to freak out about weather and any possible illnesses. Of course my kid wakes up saying her stomach hurts. Ugh!! Stay away cold and stomach bug germs!!! Also trying not to freak out about my calf and how much my training got derailed.

1. I am training for a 39.3 challenge the last weekend in October. 2. I have to cross train today, rest tomorrow, 4 miles Thursday... I Forget what I need to do Friday. 8 miles on Saturday. 3. I am starting to panic. It is only a month away and I am terrified. This is going to be a long month 4. What are you training for? Date? Louisville YMCA 10K Turkey Trot, Thanksgiving Day - going for a PR
What is your training plan for the week? This week, I'm continuing to recover from marathon training, while trying to get a couple weekday runs in. This is complicated by the fact that I'm going to a concert in Cleveland tonight. M: yoga T: concert W: 3 miles, maybe the 2nd mile at G10KP Th: yoga F: #realmitch Sa: 4 miles Su: rest
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? My PT absolutely destroyed my calf dry needling yesterday. It needed to be done, but it hurt so bad last night.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? I ran for the first time post-marathon. It was slow, but I did it. I'm getting better at getting my foot on my thigh in tree pose - I realize how lame this sounds, but it's progress. Before, my hips were not flexible enough to hang out there comfortably. I also got a standing pose that was (very early) prep for grasshopper on the second try.

Today is 11 miles. Tomorrow I leave for Vegas. My goal while there is to get in one 3 mile run and then do 3 miles on Sunday (we get back early Sunday morning).
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? Just...my schedule lately has thrown me off a bit, and my motivation is just waning in general. I am trying to just push through these last few weeks. I am realistic about this race - my goal is just to finish, and that's fine. I am kind of ready to get back to working out on my own schedule for a bit. Highlights or AW's from the past week? Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? I really need to start cross training since biking is out. Also storms potentially all week, but at least it's cooler.

What are you training for? Date? Twin Cities Marathon, October 9
What is your training plan for the week? I think I have to do 6, 5, speedwork and 10 miles. I'll squeeze at least 1 hot yoga in
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? I freaking fell down 3 stairs yesterday. I bruised my big toe and it's sort of purple/black. Hopefully it doesn't give me any trouble running this week. I may give it an extra night to heal.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Nothing noteworthy
Participating to keep myself accountable- I'm a bit lost right now training wise, post-marathon.
What are you training for? Date?
Not sure what is next up, possibly a 10K trail race. Goals over next few months are to maintain a good base mileage and do some heart rate training. I also need to drop 8-10 pounds to get to my comfortable racing weight.
What is your training plan for the week?
Crapshoot, but if I get in 2 short runs and a strength session I will call that a win.
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week?
My main issues right now are maintaining some of my marathon fitness while shifting focus to include more cross/strength training. I also need to shift around my workout times/schedule. I've been 100% early morning exerciser, but with new puppy, DH and I need to alternate mornings. Hoping to get that in line starting next week.
Highlights or AW's from the past week?
I gained only 1 pound during marathon training with a mainly eating by intuition vs. tracking strategy. Still have 8-10 to lose, but I'm calling that a win.

What are you training for? Date? South shore open water swim 2.4 miles. October 8.
What is your training plan for the week? Swim Wed Fri Sat.
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? Our weather is supposed to cool down again starting Thursday ... If it stays cold up the hill, there's a possibility air temp could be below freezing at race start (or it could be snowing). I don't even know how to prep for that.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Had a fantastic time at the Masters convention. Absolutely marvelous.

Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? I'm hoping my PT session goes well today. I've been practicing this move my PT wants me to be able to do before I can run and it's getting better. Hope she sees that today. A part of me is beginning to worry I'm not going to be able to do MCM 10K, which will just suck.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? I swam 1000 yards straight on Saturday morning. It was hard but I made it. Then did another 650 yards.
What are you training for? Date? Long Beach Half in 2 weeks, Trail Ragnar in November and a turkey trot I want to PR the hell out of.
What is your training plan for the week? MTF: CF WTHSa: Run 4-7
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? None
Highlights or AW's from the past week? I braved it and wore spandex-like shorts. IN LOVE! I usually wear running shorts or capris. I mean I run in a sports bra and tear off my shirt during a hard WOD but I was holding back on the shorts because of my inner thighs.

What are you training for? Date? Louisiana Half (January)
What is your training plan for the week?
M: laid on my lazy butt T: 4.5 mi W: 7 hours in a car with coworkers + 8 hour meeting in the middle. R: 4.5 mi F: strength S: 8 mi Su: strength
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? Still dealing with mom issues. Then yesterday we got to work and the AC was broken and probably had been all weekend. It was a sauna in my office, and I had to teach a webinar all morning so I couldn't leave. I just did not have the motivation to run after all that. I'm never going to get back to 4x/week running.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Had a pretty good long run Saturday, when we set a new record high. We've got a front coming through today and its finally supposed to cool off some. Yay 85 degrees instead of 95!

M: 5 miles T: 5 miles W: shooting for 8 miles Th: boot camp F: rest S: 12 miles
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? just normal pregnancy stuff. And the fact my pace per mile has dropped almost 3 minutes since marathon training last year
Highlights or AW's from the past week? highlights would be me quitting at mile 11.5 of my 30k trail race. Heat index was approaching 90, i was uncomfortable and would finish after 12pm. I was a little bummed about it, but it's a hard pill to swallow going from running whatever I wanted, to my body telling me "NOPE" I took the higher road and quit on the way back when i saw my husband....then the 2nd highlight would be him running calculations on my run:walk ratio for MCM to be able to finish it. We'll see how that works for me in 5 weeks
Our weather is supposed to cool down again starting Thursday ... If it stays cold up the hill, there's a possibility air temp could be below freezing at race start (or it could be snowing). I don't even know how to prep for that.
What are you training for? Date? Detroit Free Press Half Marathon, October 16 - 4th time I'm running this course
What is your training plan for the week? I've never followed an official plan. This week I want to run 4 days. I did 10 miles today and then I'll do 3 other 6 milers
Any issues or vents? Obstacles for the week? This week is pretty good because I worked the weekend so I've been off for two days while the kids are at school/daycare. Then I work a string of 3-11 shifts so I have time to run once they are out of the house. I've been having some pretty bad back pain that I'm choosing to ignore. Not the smartest thing, I know.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? Not so much.
