We are going in a couple weeks to New Orleans for spring break. We used to go two or three times a year when we lived in Houston. I can't wait for the food! We are going to the Outer Banks for a week in July. Then we are meeting my husband's family in D.C. this Thanksgiving for a week. Then we are going to take the kids to New York for Christmas. I can't wait!!
I have nothing actually planned. It's kind of killing me lol. We just got back from Thailand a month ago though so I really have no room to complain.
We may be going to Nashville this summer to visit friends. I've never been, so that's exciting. I'm also looking at South Africa for next winter but I'm not sure we'll be able to actually schedule that anytime soon (lots of unrelated things are up in the air so we don't know when we're available).
I need somewhere else to go this summer though, hopefully for a long weekend. It will probably be somewhere we can drive, so maybe Minneapolis and/or Kansas City?
We're going to NYC in a few weeks. That's it for now. Little kids ruin everything!
This, except we are going to Toronto, not NYC.
On the more distant horizon, we are looking at a road trip to Vancouver this summer with some camping along the way. Really hoping for a weekend away in Chicago in the fall without kids, as it is our 10 year anniversary. In my dreams it would be a trip to Europe, but that will have to wait until we don't have a baby anymore.

It is our ten year anniversary, too. We had hoped to go to India - I have always, always wanted to bike and backpack through India - but we just can't swing it financially or time-wise. Hmm - maybe a weekend in Chicago would be a nice compromise for us, too; good idea!

Delta has some pretty good deals on Europe travel right now. I found a route to Paris for 60k miles in November, which is AMAZING. But really we can't afford a trip like that with all these damn stupid happy people getting married this year.

Next month we are doing a road trip to Atlanta, Helen, GA, Asheville and Savannah. I can't wait and welcome any suggestions on sights to see and restaurants that can't be missed.

We are doing either NYC or Toronto this summer with our son.
Narrowing down an adults only long weekend trip in the late summer/early fall with H and possibly 1 or 2 other couples. So far we are thinking Chicago, but are throwing around a few other ideas.
Girls wine weekend trip in the late fall, staying pretty local (to Buffalo) and either doing Niagara on the Lake or one of the Finger Lakes.
We just got back from a cruise a few weeks ago, so that was our "big" trip for the year.
We're heading to Disney next month, but we're driving and it's Disneyworld with two small kids, so I'm not sure I'm considering it a vacation. Lol. We'll also be at the beach house for a week in Sandbridge in June. I might do a girl's weekend in Vegas in July or August. There will be a weekend or two in Philly and maybe one in NYC thrown in there, too.
I can't wait until the kids are old enough to make international trips worth it.

THEIR LOVE IS RUINING MY LYFE!
My friend is getting married in the Dominican Republic (she's from there) and it really doesn't work out with my schedule as I'll be working up until the morning of her wedding. If she had it the following weekend I could've made it. I'm secretly glad I have the excuse of working because I didn't want to use my vacation days and my money for this particular trip. Love ruins everything.

Just a bunch of weekend stuff so far Laguna Beach next week Vegas sometime next month for 1 night Vegas in June for a week Scottsdale in August Bend, OR in November for a wedding.
The southwest in September (Albuquerque and then hopefully a little road trip to the Grand Canyon and Utah National Parks).
Spain next March. It was originally supposed to be this October, so I'm already getting impatient for it.
It's killing me I have nothing planned for the summer, but my boss told me to expect to work on holidays and weekends, and I probably won't know until the week because it all depends on weather 😢

We just booked Dublin for 50K miles + $45 in fees/taxes. Nonstop from ATL. Which is how I came across your post the other day! I've already started planning!
LA in June to see U2 and Chris Stapleton (on different nights LOL)

I'm in Atlanta but from Savannah originally so hit me up when you are getting closer for some recs.
So far, we just have our cruise next month. We'll be stopping in Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos.
There's potential that we'll be going to Las Vegas for a weekend sometime this year, but no planning has been done. We just keep saying that I have to go (DH goes once a year for a company retreat, so I'm the only one out of the two of us who has never experienced Vegas).
We are going to Europe next month. Paris and somewhere else, tbd. Taking the baby, he will be 4.5 months old. Hoping it goes smoothly!
Lots of other little trips planned over the next few months - Michigan to see my family a couple times, lots of visits to the Cape at our cottage and two nights at my favorite resort there in May, possibly Mexico for a friends wedding in June, and I am hoping to get our first baby-free trip on the books for sometime this summer. I'm thinking maybe just NYC so we aren't too far from home.
kicks , You are my travel inspiration. I love that you only plan three months out and get have more exciting travel planned in that period that most of us do in 3 years! I think you'll love Havana - it's a facinating place.
No major travel this year - a few weekends around the island and then a trip to England at Christmas to visit family. Hoping to dessert my kids and run away to France for a night or two with my best friend while I'm there.
Aww thanks. I definitely make travel a priority and I'm thankful that I'm financially able to do so on a not extravagant budget. It helps that over the past several years I've gotten a good amount of vacation, at least 4-6 weeks each year. I haven't booked Havana yet since that'll be sometime in early June (still trying to figure out if I'm going by myself or if my boyfriend is coming with me, he's been there multiple times), but I've heard nothing but good things so I'm definitely looking forward to it.
