Blargh. Awful. I gained a pound and hurt my ankle, so I am behind on my running training. I'm nervous because I have a race coming up and I was almost at the end of the C25K program. I am going to stretch it and ice again tonight, and probably try it in the morning to see how it feels.
I'm riding a plateau, but I can't be that upset about it because I've been sick for two weeks and majorly slacking on working out. I'm not gaining, at least, so that's good. School is out in 2.5 weeks and I plan to hit it hard then. Sticking to my WW plan in the meantime. Still down 17.5, so I can't complain too much! I would like to lose about another 10, all said.
Well after 4 weeks of a losses I had my small first gain. + .4 but it's PMS week. Plus the day before I had a root canal and I ate my feelings by over eating soft flour tortilla's in abundance. I didn't really go over food allowance or anything but I have been mega bloated. Back on track.
I haven't lost anything in the last 2 weeks. There's been a lot of birthdays and parties so I can't complain much but I am 5lbs behind schedule now. Started eating Keto since Monday. That should take care of it.
What I really want is to reach a weight that's going to agree with my face ASAP. I have some work events in July and I am going to be in a lot of pictures. If I gain 1 lbs, you see it in my face right away. I hate it.

I am up 0.5 this week. Not bad considering my eating was really bad this weekend. We are going away this weekend and I am going to REALLY try to be good. So close to goal and I feel like I am phoning it in a bit.

I'm on day 15 of the Whole30. I haven't weighed myself but I've had a few people comment that I'm looking thinner in the past two days and my clothes are definitely feeling better!
This postpartum stomach is still looking rough, though.

I have sort of plateaued at a 6 pound loss. But I have been doing more weight training and that seems to be working; I feel leaner. One thing I have discovered is I eat less overall in a day if I eat a bigger lunch. I am much more full for the rest of the day. I don't snack as much and I don't want a huge dinner.

Finally replying to one of these after ignoring tags for months now. I started a new job which helped break the depression I was struggling with due to being stuck in a soul sucking hellhole. So anyway, now that I'm not spending all my free time sitting on the couch crying, I decided to jump back into the 21 Day Fix containers and lose some weight. I'm already down 2 pounds in 2 days. This happens every time I do this diet, and somehow I still end up quitting even though I know it works for me. So I'm down 2 of 30. 20 would be okay, but 30 is my real goal.

After going away, then dealing with sick kids and some shitty work stuff, I decided to just cut myself a little slack. I was up 1.5 lb on Monday, and I've been back to my normal workout routine this week and already feeling a little better. Period is due next week, though, so I will not focus on the scale as much as just continuing to eat healthy and work out.
I'm going to a wedding in Barbados next May (so, 2018) and I'm going to make sure I look good for that. So, a year to get more muscle definition and flatter abs. Pretty sure that's a realistic goal LOL!
Back on the wagon. I sort of fell off dealing with school and layoffs at work has made things really hectic now. I started keto on Monday and I'm feeling really good about it. I'm going to really track my macros to make sure I'm not getting too much protein and this time I will not cheat. I had a dream last night that I ate a piece of cake and felt awful about it, lol. I'm also doing 18/6 intermittent fasting, which I've been doing for about a month, with the exception of weekends, which I think has helped me not gain any more.
Can I join? I did intermittent fasting (8 hour eating window per day) for two months and lost ten pounds and stopped that and have now been doing WW for two months and am down an additional 12 for a total loss of 22 since the start of Feb. I am 5'5 and started at 186 and am at 164. My realistic goal is around 135. That has been a healthy and sustainable weight for me in the past. So, a ways come and a ways to go!
This week has been pretty good. Down one pound, but that is about average for me these days. I think my days of losing 2-3 pounds a week are in the past.
I have been trying to figure out self care routines when I am exhausted or stressed. My go to used to be wine and junk food. I am now exercising about four days per week (twice at home and twice at the gym), which helps immensely keeping emotional eating at bay. It's still a work in progress for me though. I have some bad habits with emotional eating that are taking time and focus to change.
After my break with H gone and not wanting to do ww, but still doing fitness, I am back on the food wagon. I hit a new low this week. Only .6 down from low, but a new total lost of 38.8. I really hope to hit 40 next week. We have company in town, so I am hoping the weekend will be a draw.
I'm doing Weight Watchers. I just keep gaining and losing the same 5 pounds. I know I really need to buckle down and track everything, it's just so much work.
I'd like to join if I may. I've all but stopped working out and my eating is terrible. I need to get back to the gym (I mainly did spin 4x/wk before) and I'm interested in trying/incorporating Pure Barre. Would anyone say you need to go at least 2x/wk in order for the workout to be effective? I know I need to focus more on strength training for sure.
I want to skip weigh in as I just started my period and things on the scale are not pretty, but I want to go to my meeting. Can I do that?
Yes - do it! My meeting leader says WW will never force you to step on the scale. She encourages people to come for the motivation and if you don't want to weigh in, you don't have to.

I find if I do some things pretty consistently the same it makes those points of variation easier to manage. Just a thought.

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
I'm 12 weeks in and down 18.6. Is anyone else doing this with their husband? Mine is down about twice as much as me. I do think it is easier to do this together, but annoying that he can lose so much faster.
