I got him tickets to see John Oliver December 30th. Also, some work clothes, socks, a new vintage style record player (and am getting him some records to go along with it), a new mousepad, astronomy binoculars, cologne.
meat thermometer, patagonia down sweater (something he'd never buy for himself), will look for some fancy beer he likes, a ceramic travel coffee mug bc he hates the stainless taste...
We're just doing stockings this year. Maybe we will organize a nice dinner or concert together (and a sitter) at a later date as a joint gift.
Last year I got him some beard stuff he really liked from an Etsy seller. He still has plenty left otherwise I would order more: www.etsy.com/shop/LuxePourHommebyG
Other ideas for this year: chocolates/cookies, the "Do It For Her" collage from The Simpsons with photos of DD, hair pomeade, barber gift card
In the past I've done Under Armour sleeveless compression undershirts, tools, novelty t-shirts, books, polo shirts for work, slippers, small remote controlled helicopter (that he immediately broke, grr), jeans, cologne, water bottle, sunglasses, donut-scented candle, smartphone-controlled thermometer for the barbecue grill, luggage scale, beer (also glassware, carrying cases, bottle openers), lunch bag
So far, I've gotten him a new robe, and a long cotton safari jacket he wants (it was too much money, but Black Friday I got it 50% off) that is on backorder until .February. I think I'm going to order him the Bluetooth earbuds that are out by Apple.
He is really hard to buy for, he buys for himself without thinking, so I need to figure out what he wants or needs before he does.
I'm getting him some beard balm (although he literally just shaved for the first time in months, but it will grow back quickly), I got him a tempur-pedic pillow, and I had him make a list of graphic novels he wants. I'll also get him a couple of work shirts. His birthday was just on the 28th, so it's hard to think of enough things for each date.
I’m thinking of doing a temper-pedic pillow too, but I’m scared since they do not accept returns, and those things are so expensive. Torn between one of those or a purple pillow. Anyone have experience with either?

I got DH a Hamilton Beach double breakfast sandwich maker, Kylo Ren's X-Wing Fighter (Lego), Kingsman: Golden Circle on 4K, and the J Crew sweater LMM wears all the time (which was 25% off today, BTW, with code THURSDAY). Adds up to about $200 when all is said and done.
I have about $40 left. He mentioned wanting a certain t-shirt and chances are it's around that much, so I'll probably do that. Maybe a pair of fun socks. Or a tool that's been on his list for, like, 8 years, that I keep think my family will get for him and they don't.

I actually have one. H would steal mine for naps, so I got one for him. I LOVE mine. I have the one for side sleepers, which I got while pregnant. It's obviously harder than regular pillows, but it contours to your head and neck, so it's actually really comfortable. I do have a regular pillow under the Tempur-pedic one to give it height so that my shoulder is not scrunched up, but it is very comfortable for me.
Two cans of beard balm that he likes A nice sweatshirt Two funny tshirts from SnorgTees A Hydroflask coffee mug Some macadamia chocolates (his favorite) Socket set
I had a really cool thermometer/meat reader for his smoker but he found it. Jerk!
What’s the thermometer? It sound like H would like that.

An Apple Watch, Air Pods, and a bunch of button down shirts (he complains that he doesn't have good date night shirts, so I bought several and he can choose a few.)

I got us hockey tickets for a game in January. It’s his favourite team and they’re 3 hours away, so I also booked a fancy hotel and reservations at a tapas bar (which he loves). Plus my parents are watching the babies overnight for us. It’s also a gift for me? Haha. I’m just trying to figure out how I’m gonna give it to him since it’s 3 pieces of paper. I may put them in a box of hockey pucks or tape them to a mini stick if I can find one. I’m SO excited to give it to him! He doesn’t like or use a lot of ‘stuff’ so this will be so fun.
His stocking will have underwear, socks, a new travel mug, scratch tickets, a copper liquor jigger, and some Reese’s pieces. We’re also going to Mexico in April so I might see if I can find something for the beach.

H got a new 50” TV for our bedroom so that’s his gift. I also got him a children book about “his” dog and him. It’s a really cute personalization book I saw an ad for on FB. It made me laugh because it so cute. That’s going to be from our kids. I also buy him a new pair of LLL pants.
Our $ limit is low bc we're sinking so much money into some house projects (builtins, new tv, fireplace, now pulling out carpets upstairs and putting in engineered wood, etc.). I'm getting him golf balls and a wireless phone charger for his Samsung phone.
Which, btw, does anyone have a rec for a good wireless phone charger for a Samsung? starlilypantsparty
I just saw this:
just go to woot.com and then electronics. Not sure why it's being lame.

I bought him a new pair of jeans, a shirt, and this jacket that he wanted last year but it was sold out immediately. He has talked about it ever since, so when the brought it back I bought it right away.
If your husband loves hoodies, their 10-year hoodie is awesome.

His sonicare toothbrush died so naturally I ordered another one of those. He is into survival stuff at the moment, so I got him a water purifying straw and a reel of 550 cord, also a tow hitch cover, two shirts, an amazing quick drying and space saving towel and ornaments from the kids.
A watch band, Twin Peaks the Return on Blu-ray, candy, some games for 2 players, and oddly, dessert plates. He keeps complaining all of our plates are too big. Maybe a silly Star Wars shirt too, he has a bunch of weird Darth Vader ones like him surfing or in a famous painting etc.
Who knows? But whatever real gift I get will be supplemented with that tape you can stick anywhere and then build legos. It's as much for him as the kids.
A new Miami Dolphins t-shirt. I bought him two new henley style shirts today and one stocking stuffer. I will buy him one lego set, I do each year lol. I think there are a bunch of small things I am going to get him.
