A 2018 National Parks Pass. I asked what he wanted and he said, "Trump out of office." I clearly can't do that one on my own, but I can give a gift to support something Trump seems to want to chip away at
A weekend in wine country with no kids. Workout shorts from lululemon. I was going to give him new jeans too but I already got them and gave them to him.
Soylent, because he's a pain in the ass and doesn't generally want presents, and he keeps threatening that one of these days he's going to get some to try it out, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
I did have another idea for him that was a rear light and camera for his bike (cycle), but I wasn't 100% sure he'd like it, and he'd probably have to change up the config of his bike pouch to use it. I gave him the vague options of the ~$60 gift that was dumb but that I thought he'd like, or the $125 gift I was sort of 50/50 on, with the caveat that if he liked it he'd certain love it, and he said that since I had asked for a $$$ present, I should get him the cheaper thing.
For his stocking I'm getting him one of those scrubber rag things that are supposed to better than the mesh sponges, a wallet sized sim card holder, toiletries, soft licorice, and either a chocolate orange or cherry cordials.
We aren’t doing Christmas gifts, but as a wedding present I got him a nice pocket knife (he’s really into them) and a clip for it engraved with the coordinates of the church where we’re getting married.
Another idea I might use for his February birthday is a pellet grill.
We got a pellet grill last month after we moved into our new house (our grill was built into our patio at our old house) and we love it. My H wants to grill every single night. Fine by me!

I’m planning a night away from the kids - just a mini staycation in our city but at a hotel, dinner reservations and brunch reservations. We have a 8 month old so haven’t really had much “us” time since she’s been born so having the in laws come for a night and us getting out I think will be appreciated!
I like gift shopping for H. I have couple more things in mind for stocking stuffers.
So far: The Night Sky (basically a map of the sky on the day and location we married) Guitar picks Marriage/relationship game BJJ rash guard Brain teasers
I got this for my brother and his wife with their wedding date and one for DH with his birthdate. They are really nerdy and fun!
My H is essentially a kid in an adult's body, so I got him Star Wars legos.
He also flies and uses an iPad mini for his GPS, so I got an iPad holder that suction cups to the plane, and a plane calendar. Also a tshirt for him that says Control C and one for DS that says Control V.
