Can anyone recommend somewhere that is budget friendly to get plus size clothes that are business casual? My work just got a stricter dress code so I need some new things, but I’m definitely on a tighter budget right now.
Lands End has great plus size stuff. You have to stalk them for a sale though since their full prices are kind of high. I would also check Kohl's. They're a bit patchy but sometimes have OK stuff.
I was also going to recommend Kohl's. Old Navy sometimes has some cute stuff that could fit into a Business Casual wardrobe. I've found good stuff at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory, and similar stores, you just have to be willing to dig through the racks and try everything on.
Eloquii is currently running a 50% off sale. I find the quality there to be far superior to Loft and Old Navy, and at 50% off, the prices are pretty competitive with those brands.

I have been very happy with ordering online at JC Penney. My local store is awful hence why I buy online. Roz and Ali (formerly Dress Barn) is very good also.

Maurices has some great plus size business casual items, and their pricing is pretty good. I've had luck shopping their clearance section (online). I don't know of any stores near me so I can't speak to their in-store selection.

I second JC Penney. There is a big one near me and that’s where most of my clothes come from.
Surprisingly enough, Ross. Ours has a ton of plus size. What size are you looking for? I wear an 18 and got great work pants at Van Heusen outlet.
+1 for Ross. Where I lived I was surprised to see the amount if business casual for plus size. I rotated between the three stores in my area to find what I liked since each had different inventory. I was a size 24/26 depending on the brand and 2x/3x in blouses.
I've had some good luck at Goodwill for some plus sizes as well

I shop mainly Torrid and Lane Bryant cause we lack severely in plus size stuff around here where I live.
Torrid always has some kind of sale. Lane Bryant is hit or miss.
However..if you DO like LB..their real women dollars start September 28 thru oct some time. If you shop there, I can mail you $50 worth (50 off 100) cause I need to step away from there lol

Kohls can be hit or miss, at least for size 18. You have to sort through the rack and try on every item, but on a good sale you can't go wrong. Old Navy is trying to get back into work clothes. I just shopped Mauriece's and it was pretty good. Their sizing is weird though (they try to make you feel "better") so look that up before you go.

I like Torrid. Usually I get them on sale though. Lots of times it's 40%. They also have some things in Clearance.
For example this weekend I got 3 decent pair of shorts for a upcoming vacation and a top for $25.39 total. I had a $10 insider credit plus it was 50% off clearance.
The quality is average. Reminds me a little of like New York and Company but still good enough for the price. I wouldn't pay full price for anything though.
Loft has started carrying their clothing in plus sizes (finally). If you get on their email list, they send out sales and coupon codes all. the. time. that make the clothing much more reasonably priced. I haven’t tried the plus sizes yet, but looks pretty promising.
