Kamala- bringing up teachers not being able to teach because of student loan debt. It's a big problem that needs to be on every candidate's policy list.
She should’ve had a better answer to Don’s push back about the insurance industry phasing out in 4 years.
To be fair, the concept is borderline ludacris so I’m not surprised she doesn’t have much to say about it. One of those things that sounds really good but is not plausibly going to happen.

She had a few missteps, but she has some great answers. She falls short of Warren's policy knowledge, but she's getting into more than Sanders did (cause, duh!)

Oh yea, I agree. I would like to hear more of this reality. I loved her answer to the impeachment question, because she supports starting the process but also explained the reality that the senate won’t do shit about it.

It will be interesting to see how they all do against one another in an actual debate. Right now, Warren has won the night for me. But I love Kamala and I know she knows her shit, and I expect that in the debate arena she will dominate. I don't think I've ever had multiple candidates that are actually viable and actually great to choose from before.

So what do we think about people being able to vote while serving time in prison (as opposed to after serving)? Bernie was all for it, and Kamala kind of hedged, saying we should have the conversation.

I think Kamala will be excellent in the debates. Warren is an excellent debator as well. I also think Pete will do well in that setting.
My money is on the debates making Bernie and Klobuchar look pretty bad. He is shouty and she is condescending.

I really enjoy how Luda has earned his place in the lexographic pantheon forever.

I’m pretty sure I’m for it. People IN prison are materially impacted in huge, huge ways by who is in elected office. They’ve lost their freedom of movement, not their right to participate in making decisions that affect their own well-being. With the disproportionate rates of incarceration among POC, it’s also an equity issue in terms of who ends up serving time and losing their right to vote in the process.

Yeah that makes sense. I've never questioned reinstating voting rights for those out of prison but never thought about it in this context before.
I genuinely don’t understand taking people’s voting rights away. People should be able to vote, period. I really don’t care what they’ve done in their life, literally no one should lose the ability to cast a vote.

Yeah, I'm here. I don't really get why committing a crime comes with the loss of the right to vote. I see no reason why people in prison shouldn't be allowed to vote.
