Sykesville (southern corner of carroll county right on the howard county line)
Awesome! I will keep you in mind if I head out that way I have been meaning to visit Frederick at some point and you'd be right on the way. Your flavors sound amazing!
Or coffee but I don’t buy it often because caffeine and I eat it at night usually. If only I could find decaf coffee ice cream! (Although...I wonder if regular really has caffeine. I guess I don’t know for sure)
Dirt Cake by a local ice cream maker. It’s super rich chocolate ice cream with crushed up Oreos. It is truly the best ice cream I’ve ever had.
If I’m not eating that brand, probably peanut butter cup or butter pecan (which I used to think was an old person flavor but I guess now I’m old, LOL).
Butter pecan is both insanely delicious and also an old person flavor. My first job was scooping ice cream, and the old people always ordered butter pecan, maple walnut, or rum raisin, and they were the only ones.

Ditto. And once in a while an elderly person would order peach. We changed out the tub of peach ice cream maybe 2-3 times a summer at most, whereas we were going through maybe 4-5 tubs of vanilla and chocolate each evening shift.
Oh, and black raspberry, that was usually an older adult flavor. My dad liked it. Our chocolate raspberry was really good because it came with these little chocolate-covered raspberry disks folded into the chocolate ice cream - that was another older adult flavor. Rum raisin was really our only flavor that I didn't like. That and the weird no-sugar Chocolate Cherry Garcia knockoff we had, yuck. I steered customers away from that one quite a few times.
I love peach! But I have old people taste in a lot of things, lol.
I love peach too! And a local place makes the best lemon/vanilla twist cones. H tells me lemon is an old person flavor too. It may be true, if it is then I guess I'm officially an Old.
Passionfruit Sorbet. But I really only get to have that in very specific locations.
Tried and true favorite is Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla. They used to do a summer version with strawberries mixed in, which is delicious. That's probably not helpful to you wanting to make ice cream.
They still make it! I saw some in the store yesterday, as well as the peach one.
I love Red Velvet, coffee (especially if there's also chocolate involved), and pumpkin (in the fall).

Mmmm. I need to check my store. I live in Colorado now, so not sure if they bring all the seasonal flavors up here. If so, I am definitely getting a container.
Vanilla is my favorite, especially when I make it with the Penzey's double-strength vanilla and a bit of almond extract. Sometimes I throw in some chocolate chips and cherries.

A local place near me makes chocolate peanut butter crunch and that’s my favorite. It’s chocolate with swirls of peanut butter throughout and crunchies (ground up oreos) in it. Soooo good.

I knew that butterscotch was an old person candy, but it was my favorite candy and pudding flavor as a kid, lemon meringue and peach were my favorite pies, and butter pecan was one of my favorite ice cream flavors.
Apparently I have been an old person since birth. lol
I’d have to do a top five: Blue Bell Banana Pudding Baskin Robbins Candy Bar Mashup Schwan’s Toffee Caramel Crunch Ben and Jerry’s Chubby Hubby Edy’s Spumoni
In a general sense: Birthday Cake Mint Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel Chocolate with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Pistachio
