1) Recommend your favorite pasta casseroles. It's snowy and cold and I want to make a hearty pasta casserole for the week. Lasagna feels too intensive, not in the mood to deal with all those steps. So something that's a bit more of a one pan, mix it all together thing would be better.
2) My hands are so unbelievably dry. Tell me how to get them back to a good spot again. I have all the lotions and creams. I feel like I need to buy gloves to wear at night or something.

1) cooked pasta of your choice (I like ziti or mostaccioli), jar of sauce of your choice, CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE all up in that B, plus a ton on top. Oven, 350, until melty and bubbly.
2) My sister is a Mary Kay lady, and I know supporting MLMs is bad, but I've never found a hand cream that is as good as theirs. I use it every time I wash my hands and random times throughout the day. Lotion and vaseline overnight. Basically, washing my hands in mega hot water and with tons of harsh soap to keep myself well is causing my hands to die, so I just try to oil them up as much as possible after burning them off.

I like to throw Italian sausages in a crockpot with peppers and onions and tomato sauce and serve it over some form of pasta (usually spaghetti). Bonus, the house smells AMAZING while it's cooking.
isabel - try coconut oil on your hands. Put on at night and maybe wear some cotton gloves to bed. I put it on my face when it gets real dry in the winter and it works miracles
My question - Is anyone else willing to admit that they enjoy certain MLMs? Granted, I'm not generally bombarded by all of the new ones, but if someone I know throws a Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, or 31 Bags party, I am 100% there! Maybe I should put this in the confessions thread? LOL
Oh....and when my hands get really bad the only thing that helps is a steroid cream for a few days.
Like hydrocortisone?
Yes, but the last time it got really bad I went to the derm and they prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream and I wish I had gone sooner because it cleared it up in less than a week. I had some weird dryness and cracking on only 2 fingers.

Mary Kay has been around since the dawn of man. I just don’t see that as being as bad as the rest. And you’re right, that hand cream is amazing.
My great Aunt supported herself in a rural town selling Avon, and rando sweaters she bought in bulk, from the time she first married. She married 3 times, they all died young, and she had a lover who lived in a trailer behind her house after that, until she died. She drove that pink caddy with pride. Her town had a lot of poor people who didn't have transportation to go to the mall in "the city", so they didn't have options, other than the drug store. Her market was captive. The whole town pretty much showed up for her funeral, when she passed at 86, in 1996. I keep an Avon commemorative figuring she won on my bookshelf, as an ode to her ingenuity.
Skinnytaste Cheesburger Casserole. I sometimes add bacon, which probably takes away the 'skinny' aspect of this casserole. I also don't add a ton of pickles

I AM! I love Scentsy. I won't ever sell, but I do definitely buy! I also own Longaberger baskets and princess house crystal. Tasfully simple is also good and Pampered Chef has fun gadgets!
I guess this qualifies as a random question although its not related to food or products...I went to the dentist today. I've never had a cavity in my life (lots of other issues though including TMJ, and a gum graft, that was fun lol). Anyway, this is the present I get for turning 35 yesterday I guess, I have a small cavity that they want to fill in a couple of weeks. I have serious dental anxiety probably from all the work I've had done, although I've never had a bad experience. Can anyone calm my fears and tell me this is not a big deal? I do have a prescription for Xanax that I only use occasionally at night, would it help if I took one beforehand? Am I allowed to do that and then drive 45 minutes home? I never take it during the day so I have no idea. I know I could google this but other peoples experiences are appreciated
isabel I've made this skillet lasagna recipe a bunch of times and everyone in the family likes it. Way easier than baked lasagna, and 1 pan.
Instead of the canned tomato sauce I used 8 oz of the har sauce we use on spaghetti night. I figured it would have a better chance getting picky DS to accept it since itll taste familiar and it worked (in case you have picky eaters).

I hate the concept of MLMs and generally think stuff is overpriced.
But, my mom sent me some nail polish things from Color Street that a woman she knows is selling, and I actually like them a lot. They are strips made of real nail polish but you just stick them on your nails and somehow they adhere and actually stay on. They are similar to a no chip manicure, but you can get 2 manicures out of them for $11 and it only takes like 15 minutes to put them on, they are "dry" immediately. They have a lot of wacky patterns but also solid colors. I put on some grey ones a week ago Wednesday and they are still looking pretty good, minus the outgrowth. I haven't bought any with my own money yet, but I may be tempted when I run out of the ones my mom gave me.

Not "pasta" but my spaghetti squash casserole is SO good, and even better as leftovers.
Cut Squash in half length wise, scoop out seeds, put cut side up in a microwave safe baking dish with a little water and cover with plastic wrap. Cook for 15minutes
While squash is cooking brown ground turkey (or beef), add one jar spaghetti sauce and season to your liking.
When squash is done, drain the excess water and use a fork to shred the squash into the dish, squeeze out excess water from "noodles"
Mix the noodles in with the meat and sauce
Layer in a 9x13 baking dish with mozzarella, or other cheese of your choice and top with cheese.

Honestly, the Xanax might help. Not sure about driving after -- might want to look more into that. I don't have dental anxiety at all, and even I get pretty anxious when the drilling starts. The sound is pretty bad.
