Still waffling but I’m about 75% sure it’ll be for Warren. I think H will be for Biden (he is more moderate so it’s not a swing from Warren due to the endorsements).
I'm really curious what's going to end up happening in MN today with Klobuchar out.
I can see it going any number of ways.
Same. I was the 22nd person in my polling location this morning and was the only person there when I voted, so I'm also really curious about turnout. I do think I live in a weird red bubble of the Twin Cities, so I imagine many of my "neighbors" have no reason to come out and vote in the primary because their candidate was the only one on the ballot.
This was also my first time ever voting in a primary. I (regrettably) never participated when we had caucuses here instead.
My H and I voted this morning - numbers 64 and 65 as of 7:30 am. I made my decision in the booth. Don’t feel great about it, don’t feel bad about it. Mainly I just want Bernie to make like Chris Matthews and go the fuck home.

Voted by mail in CA last week (for Warren), but I’m mostly watching my congressional primary today. I’m in Duncan Hunter’s old district (CA-50) and although I’m fairly confident the D candidate (yay Ammar!) will make it through to November, I’m interested to see by what percentage and which Republican he’ll be up against. Darrell Issa is trying to weasel his way back in down here, plus a couple others who are all trying to out-Trump each other.

I just need Warren to get to the next debate on the 15th so it’s extra clear how much brighter she shines than the three old shouty men on stage with her.
I planned to vote before work but my polling place was packed as soon as it opened at 7:00. I've only ever seen a line that long in 2008 when Obama was the nominee. I will happily wait in line tonight

I'm not far from you if I remember correctly and my polling place was super busy at around 7:15 too. It was great to see.

The radio ads are ridiculous. I don't know if you've heard any, but all they make me think is that Carl deMaio sounds infinitely better than Issa (and let's be real, Issa fucking sucks, so that's not hard).
I’m so annoyed with people (not necessarily from here) counting Warren out. I hope she gets a big boost today and is still around for me to vote for her in April.

I’ve been getting about three mailers a day from DeMaio about how he’s 100x more Trumpy than Issa, so I don’t think either of them are great! I’m dreading how either one is going to treat Ammar once they move into attacking him instead of each other.
I'm interested in seeing the final turnout figures.
Are there down-ballot primaries taking place today as well? Anyone interesting?
NC has a lot of down ballot primaries. Hopefully it's the first step in getting rid of Tillis. I dislike him even more than Burr. I want to smack his smug face. We also have governor, Lt. governor, US house, NC House, a bunch of other state offices. Hopefully the dems can make some inroads in the state legislature. Right now, they barely have enough to uphold Cooper's vetoes.
Proudly voted for Warren today! There are lots of down ballot races in Texas, mostly judges. I waited in line for about 25 minutes midmorning but by the time I finished the line was much longer!

They're both so gross. I dread their attacks on Ammar, too. Some people in a group I'm in have started grumbling about him because he's not as directly responsive on Facebook like he used to be, so hopefully that doesn't mess anything up for him. I swear, it seems like people are getting so petty and divided lately. It worries me.

Our district would be lucky to have a Congressman as decent as Ammar seems to be! If they think Issa or DeMaio give one shit about anyone in our district as opposed to just seizing power wherever they can find it, they’re delusional.

I agree. These are more of the purity test progressives, so I just kind of roll my eyes. There's been a lot of negative talk about Sara Jacobs in the group because she comes from money and attacking other people who want to support her. Also a lot of bickering about mayor.
Twitter is such a cesspool of Bernie trash. All of his supporters are so far up their own asses. If I see one more thread of tweets from a Bernie supporter wailing about how Biden is old and it’s elder abuse people around him are supporting him that then adds that Biden has terrible history that will be dug up I might explode. BERNIE HAD A HEART ATTACK RECENTLY. BERNIE AND HIS MOSCOW HONEYMOON RAPE FANTASY AND SANDINISTA BS ARE PRETTY FUCKING BAD.
if you are a Bernie supporter and say that shit about Biden all I want to scream at you is “why didn’t you support warren then?” Frankly I want all these people to just disintegrate, snap style. They are the biggest group of asshat hypocrites. Spoiler alert: if you care about candidate health and oppo research on their history, BERNIE should not be your candidate. So fucking disingenuous.
