This isn't exciting, but my unpopular (with my husband) opinion is that cars are to get you from point A to point B safely. I can't understand wanting to spend $70K on a car that is just going to depreciate in value.
If your kid isn't potty trained by the age of 4 you probably didn't try hard enough. I know so many people whose 4 year old's aren't potty trained and for some reason this really drives me crazy.

I also dont like cats. They always seem so selfish. I am sure your cats are all much nicer. Especially bridey with the toilet trianed cat! But the ones I have met dont hold a candle to dogs. We have fish.

I don't get why people have pets at all. No interest.
I mean, I am not going to do it if everyone else doesn't because that would be boring, and I don't feel strongly enough about it to try to sway people or anything, but that's my vote. I also don't feel at all wronged or outraged by The Nest. That is probably another unpopular opinion
haha. I don't feel wronged, either. I just really, really prefer this format & the vibe over here.
I hate to read when women complain on FB that they can't pay the bills this month because they have 3 kids. Don't you consider this before you pop out kids?

this is particularly annoying when the they have been posting about their new haircut or getting a pedicure for the week or two before.
My unpopular opinion is that I think cats are the best thing ever, and my life has been so much better since I got some & got involved with cat rescue
I'd been completely indifferent about cats my entire life. Now, I know I'll always have them.
How long have you had D for now?
Sadly (because as you certainly know, I cats too), I think this is the actual unpopular opinion here.
Do you think you'll ever get more dogs, or is it cats only from now on?
A year this month! We got her in May, Sister in July/August, and Alice in November. And I've had 12 foster kitties since November.
I still adore my dogs, but I really doubt I'll get more dogs when they're gone. Dogs are way higher maintenance, and at 9 & 10 years old, they still like to pee/poop inside. They're totally worth it because I love them, but I don't want to deal with that all over again with new dogs. I like the freedom we have with cats, and I like how clean they are.

I prefer it over here, but it took me forever to figure out the technical parts of the nest ( I suck at computers) and now here, I wil probably never post a pic. Although being on my ipad also makes everything impossible. Sorry, random, but spinoff UO
Most government employees that I know are overpaid. They also consistently whine about their benefits which are still better than mine. But I guess they have to work with other government employees as a punishment
I don't think this is unpopular but if you married a guy who refers to "babysitting" your children, you have married a douche.
I want to give my dog back to the rescue. He likes to pee in our house and no amount of training or walking has done anything to change it.
I feel your frustration. Maybe try a belly band? Or, in my case, an ace bandage? My chihuahuas won't keep the belly bands on (they like to commando crawl around til it falls off), but the ace bandage is secure.
It's not a perfect solution, but at least they'll just pee on themselves instead of peeing on your stuff. We use these when we take the dogs to my ILs', and it keeps them from marking stuff. They seem to lose the urge to pee on things when they're wearing them.

And you think this is an unpopular opinion on MM because...?
I know that it is not unpopular on MM, but I would never speak those words in the real world.
Kore, we have tried a belly band but I think it's too big. He just scoots around on the carpet and against the furniture until he gets it off. I think he is jealous of the cats. We are going to fill a Rx for some doggy prozac to help. Hopefully it will.
