My hairdresser came to my house last night to do my roots. She lives most of the time in maine and was telling me no one she knows there will get the vaccine. Here in MA/Boston it’s like Thunder Dome trying to get appointments - everyone wants them. It’s so different from place to place

I just completed my first Pfizer dose. My husband is eligible but is "waiting to see how it goes."
I have toddlers who aren't obviously.
My parents are vaxxed, but most of my friends aren't eligible yet and aren't vaxxed, or are in Healthcare or education and are already vaxxed. My ILs are a mix of not vaxxed and not planning to, or fully vaxxed.
DH and I got our first doses last week...the first week were eligible in FL. So did our immunocompromised 41 year old daughter in CA...also the first week she was eligible.
Both of my siblings (older) in AZ are fully vaccinated.
My extended family are overwhelmingly vaccine believers, but DH'S extended family seems to be about 50/50 at most. They are Trumpy, annoying people that we thankfully don't live near or really have anything to do with.
It seems like the people that we consider friends either have already gotten it or are planning to get it when they become eligible.

They just started vaccinating here a couple weeks ago. I'm far from eligibility in the states and even father here. I do have to go to hospital this week for some tests, so maybe I'll luck out and they'll have a must use dose.
Received my first dose of Pfizer last week via my employer. I don’t know anyone personally who isn’t planning to get vaccinated ASAP or hasn’t already jumped at the chance.
I had an appointment scheduled a few weeks ago. The morning of my appointment, the location called and said they didn't have enough on hand and my appointment couldn't be fulfilled. The state cancelled my appointment and there's been no word since of when it would be rescheduled. :-(
I can't change my "vote" but if I could I would now say 1st dose done! I was in a meeting this afternoon and 1 of the people organizing our clinic on campus was in the meeting and told me to get up to campus because they were looking for people to finish out todays doses! Right place, right time for sure! I've never been so excited for a sore arm!!
Fully vaccinated, post waiting period. My state was the first to open up to all 16+ and I feel so incredibly fortunate. My entire family (my DH, my 4 parents, my 4 siblings and their respective spouses, plus various cousins, aunts and uncles) have all had at least one shot and will get their second shots next week.
My ILs are all Trumper anti-vaccers. My DH wants to take the kids to go visit them in June but I’m strongly against it, we have a tele-health appointment with the pediatrician to discuss on Thursday. My town is level 1 super low risk (40% of the entire population has had 1 dose of the vaccine already) and my ILs live in the hotspot of our state. Ugh.
Most of the people in our small circle of friends (SoCal) have received at least one dose, and the remaining will as soon as they become eligible. Obviously this does not include their children.
Grandparents and parents on both sides have also either started or completed their series. Lots of extended family in Indiana who say they’ll never get the vaccine. I suspect that may change if they cannot travel or attend school without proof of vaccination - so here’s to hoping that happens one day.
I’m still sitting here waiting...my dad and stepmom in another state still haven’t been able to get appointments (my Dad had one for end of March but it was canceled due to low supply). My mom gets her second shot Friday.
PA will never even move to 1b (where I am). We will go straight from 1A to fully open in May due to Biden’s directive. So come May 1st I’ll be constantly seeking appointments against everyone else in a state that is already having a cluster f of a roll out.
Not eligible yet, even when I am though (April 5th I think) I doubt I’ll be able to find an appointment. As of now there appear to be zero appointments available anywhere in my state.

message me when you are eligible and I can pass on the tricks I’ve learned. My friends and I have been able to get dozens of appointments for teachers over the last few weeks and it’s definitely opening up more now than a few weeks ago. It definitely can be done!
I likely won’t be eligible until May 1, and by that time we will probably have another surge thanks to everyone going on spring break and I just kind of want to scream.
NH announced that they have enough vaccines to have everyone over 16 scheduled in the next few weeks, but I still have not gotten details on it yet. I am hoping we get ours in April.
