I have about $200 worth of clothes I need to return. I’m already feeling terrible about being the heaviest I’ve already been, but when I can’t find a single item that fits it really is a punch in the gut.
I’m a 2x in top and 14/16 on the bottom. All I wanted was a few work tops for Spring. I’ll happily take links and recs you have.
I recently discovered Maurices. One thing that impressed me with them is they have a lot of the exact same clothes in both women’s and plus sizes. I hate when plus size clothes are all frumpy and hideous patterns.

I just don’t understand why all of the clothes are so wide. It always seems like they make the clothes wider, not longer, so everything that isn’t a mumu is super boxy. I really just want a women’s XL long in most clothes. But that is so rare!
Ditto the above recommendations. I also find a lot of basics like t-shirts, bathing suits, cardigans, etc at Lands End (but they do have a lot of hideous styles, too, so you have to dig a bit.

I ordered a bunch of tops from Maurices. Hopefully some will work out.
Apparently I signed up for Stitch Fix awhile back but never finished the process. So I finished that and my first order should be here Thursday.
I had to get DS some shorts at ON and did find one top that I like. I walked over to Marshals and got a few tops and a pair of jeans. I’ll try them on tomorrow and see what works out.
