LOL. I like it, minus some wallpaper borders, sponge painting and the dated kitchen. Maybe I lived in Florida too long because what is taste even? You have to lean into the kitsch. I'd live in that library, happily.
Strangely, I don't hate it. It is very taste specific for sure, and I don't think that I could live there, but for the most part, it's very well done. And the library is amazing.
“With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent,”
How does a $25 mil house only have a stacking washer and dryer? All those bedrooms and a tiny galley kitchen with basic appliances.
I assume it's in one of these spaces: "In addition to the main house, the property includes a 3 bedroom two bath guest house and separate staff quarters which are located above the five car garage."
I've been in a few houses in that neighborhood, one of which I think was probably just a few houses down from this one. I think all of the houses around the lake are completely custom. The one I was in had like LED lighting embedded into the stair handrails, and recessed lighting behind wall panels. All very over-the-top and very 90s.

I would totally live there and my kids would be in heaven. First I’d remove all the stuff (curtains, carpets, runners) and redo the bathrooms and kitchen. Then I’d start my event planning service and rent it out for weddings and the like.
Also whenever we do these posts (which I love BTW) I always feel a little bad for the Realtor thinking even a fraction of the views are legit. But then I get over it because someone will buy this and the Realtor will dry their tears with a nice commission LOL

I want to rip those silk plant vines out so bad. I can't imagine the dust they'd collect.
The location looks really cool, but also super flood-prone.
It reminds me of this house a friend found today, which also has it's own cinema, plus a catering kitchen, "Parisian Boulevard," speakeasy, bistro, arcade, home gym, 2 elevators, a "Collectables gallery" which is...something, a ballroom with a stage, and a complete executive office suite set up with reception and conference room.
