I'll be there with bells on.
I did read not exactly spoilers but impressions that it's disappointing. IDK. I do know that it won't change my decision to binge. Too bad there's no drizzly where I am.
I just started rewatching the whole series. I'm only 4 episodes in so it will be a couple weeks before i get to season 4, but I wanted my memory to be fresh for the last season.
Yay! Honestly it's been so long since I watched season 3 that I'm fuzzy on where it ended. I'll need to watch a recap.
oh - i remember where it ended ….. if nothing else, that i remember. They flew to Mexico (i think) with the female lawyer. The final episode ended with them getting to the house and getting out of the car to greet their host. May that be enough to jog your memory!

I am so ready. For some reason I had it in my head that it wasn't coming out until next week, so I just texted H to not make any plans for tonight because we are getting take-out and binge-watching as much as we can in one night. I remember exactly where we left off at the end of Season 3 because I am still traumatized!

Spoilers since I just watched the last episode of season 3******recap
So Wendy had just given the orders and Ben was killed. Wendy stays a couple days in her minivan parked in a grocery store parking lot drinking and crying.
Marty cremates Ben. Jonah is beyond distraught and upset his parents aren't seeking vengeance against Helen.
Navarro watches his baby's baptism online when the rival Lagunas Cartel barges in and kills everyone, but the baby survives. Navarro sends Helen, his 3 kids and Nanny to the Ozarks for their safety. Helen states her case to Navarro in a bid to take over what the Byrdes have built. She sets them up to make it look like they are joining witness protection. Wendy sensing Helen is having them killed states their own case to Navarro letting him know they had her brother executed for the safety of his cartel. Marty and Wendy learn Jonah has drone footage of the Lagunas Cartel (who had been working with the Kansas City Mob and I believe intermingled with Frank Cosgrove Sr) committing a crime. Marty gives the footage to Myah the FBI agent which gives US forces the right to take action against Lagunas Cartel, thus ending the war so to speak for Navarro's Cartel.
Ruth is upset and angry and knows that Wendy and Marty had Ben killed. She quits and ends up joining Darlene and Wyatt as they plan to restart their heroin farm. Darlene shoots Frank Jr's "pecker" (he's the jerk who beat Ruth previously) and then goes to Frank Sr and says OK we are even on Ruth, now let's work together and offers him some contracts for her business.
Jonah takes his rifle to Helen's and plans to shoot her, but Helen let's him know his parents gave the word to kill Ben. Jonah leaves and goes home and is in a very bad way.
Marty, Wendy, Helen, the kids and Nanny return to Mexico and after Navarro greets the kids and Nanny and sends them inside Marty, Wendy, and Helen get out of their SUV and the driver/bodyguard nonchalantly shoots Helen in the head with blood and brains splattered all over Marty and Wendy.
H and I watched the last episode of season 3 earlier this week. That season finale was amazing. I can't wait to binge tonight. But I also want to savior it and not blow through all the episodes too quickly.
It's been too long, I for sure need to watch at least the last episode before starting season 4. Even reading the recap I was like "which person was that?" - I'm bad at recalling characters when there is big gaps between seasons.

Had to watch season 3 finale to refresh everything. season 4 episode 1 didn't disappoint! Interesting where they're going with Jonah... Any guesses why they're making Mia's character pregnant? Her/her baby's got to be in jeopardy some place in the storyline.

I remember literally nothing from that season 3 recap. I didn't even remember some of the names. Sometimes Netflix will have a preseason episode recap. Hopefully they do for this because right now I don't have time to rewatch season 3. That is unless I have one of my insomnia periods where I'm awake 36 straight hours

There is a great recap--I'm glad I watched it--helped a lot.

I've watched 6 episodes. Going to watch the last one in a bit. I'll be back then to discuss. But whoo bot so far! This season does not disappoint. I am TEAM Ruth/Wyatt/Jonah!
Finished. Fucking teenagers, man. I wanted to slap Jonah so many times this season.
I love Ruth, she will always be my favorite character.
When does Part 2 come out? I guess I can Google lol ETA: Verdict, no one really knows, but I saw guesses as soon as 3-4 months from now or as long as end of the year, early 2023

I saw somewhere yesterday that it is slated for a May 2022 release, so I'm holding out hope that it actually happens.
Ruth's scenes in the last episode were absolutely amazing.
And Wendy I think has gone in to complete sociopath territory.

Agreed, I no longer root for Wendy. I actually stopped doing that 1 to 2 seasons ago. She is evil. Marty still shows he has some morals and I appreciate he still cares for and looks out for Ruth, but he could do more.

Ooooh I hope you're right! Although I don't want it to end. And you know it won't be a happy ending lol but I do appreciate when shows end on a high instead of dragging themselves along until they're terrible.
Julia Garner (Ruth) is such an amazing actress.
I've loved Wendy's character development. I think she was always kind of a sociopath, she just channeled it differently in her old life.
And man, Darlene is something. She certainly doesn't take any shit even if she doesn't consider any consequences lol. But I do love how she's just like, Nope, don't like that, grab the shotgun.

I still remember early on thinking that she was just a supporting wife until she killed her husband and then her true psychoticness came out.

I loved when they did that. He was clearly holding her back. She is a much stronger power than he was. Ruth is my fave, but Darlene grew on me last season and now I just adore her. The only thing I didn't like was her getting Zeke a season or two ago.
