Censored for the subject line because idk people might be on at work? Anyway, my mom and I were talking and I told her about a dream I had where I told a coworker, "You know what? Fuck you." and then immediately apologized and she said she didn't think she'd ever said that to someone.
So I was thinking about it and I have said it a LOT here lol and I've definitely yelled it in my car at other drivers, but I can't really recall a time I've said it (seriously, in anger) to someone's face.
I was curious if others have more angry conversations lol
TO someone, in the true meaning of "Fuck you"... I honestly don't know that I ever have! And I cuss. So... I'm not angel. I just don't think I really cuss AT people.

I did an internship in Italy working in kitchens, and this was one of the few phrases the whole kitchen knew in English. I dont think they realized how aggressive it is? Lol. I would walk in and everyone would yell it like a greeting.
To who? I'm so curious. I would have guessed I said it a lot, but when I really thought about it, I'm not that aggressive in person apparently lol
Random dude in another car who was giving me the finger. No clue what I did, but I enunciated it slowly so he could see what I was saying. Truly random, and I know this makes it seem like I have a lot of road rage, but I don't.

This has absolutely made my day. 5 stars, will read again.
I’ve said “fuck off” to my bf in the heat of an argument. It’s been months. I yell “what the fuck” to lots of cars while driving. I drop “fuck” and “fucking” in a lot of convo at home and work. But a “fuck you” ? It’s been a long long time.

Why so much parsing and pearl clutching? Calling someone a fucker or telling them to fuck off is hardly that different from a direct fuck you. Just lean into it, people.

This board also has issues with yelling, so I’m not surprised to see people being very delicate about fuck you, fuck off, what the fuck, etc.
I’m a hothead, so gentleness of words is not my lane.

Probably never but, recently I burnt the shit out of my hand (like thought we may need to go to urgent care burnt), my DH comes to check on me and tells me to calm down. I shouted “are you fucking kidding me?”.
Turns out he had googled what to do, and google told him I needed to keep calm to prevent shock, note…. He now knows to never ever ever tell me to calm down.
Out loud to someone's face? I am not positive that I ever have, but if I did it would have been to my college ex-boyfriend. I am such a prude, haha.... I probably would have said F-you and not the full saying.
Several weeks ago, someone who shall remain nameless, knocked over a cornhole board in my garage to the point that I literally drove over it with my car. There were swearwords. I had them remove the game to the basement because I had only had it out after a party, and apologized. But I was pissed to be driving over random crap perhaps ruining it and my car/ garage at the same time. Because it was a weird angle, the wheel got stuck on it, and it was a whole thing. Luckily besides some scraps on the board, everything was fine ish.
Oh and more recently I flicked DH off when he was being annoying and condescending. He asked me where something was and then made fun of me when I gestured/ pointed. So I gave him another gesture. He laughed.

Directly to someone? Likely my exh about 2.5 years ago, last time we communicated. I said it to him a lot during the divorce. I still sayfuck you asshole when something involving him comes to mind. I say it a lot after getting off the phone with a difficult person at work, but that's not to them directly. I'm sure I've yelled it at random people in traffic.
Sometimes I say it jokingly to H, but never seriously.
I said it many times to my XH when we were arguing, but usually in response to something awful he said first - I wasn't the aggressor.
I feel like I was really angry about something unrelated to marriage at some point in recent years and had words with them, but I can't remember. Maybe I'll come back and update. I am generally polite and nice to a fault so don't often get into arguments with random strangers. I probably should more. (I've definitely said it to people who have no chance of hearing me say it, though)
