Cancun adults only all inclusive because it was cheap and we were young and poor lol. I would definitely do it again though, it was so relaxing and I loved not having to plan anything.
This, except the resort was in Playa and we weren't that young! It was great to be at an all inclusive and not have to worry about anything after wedding stress.
Lol we went to Disney World. We spent 11 or 12 days there, staying in one of the deluxe resorts. I'm honestly not sure why we didn't go somewhere more "exotic" but there's a lot of adult fun to be had at Disney if you do it right.
A cabin in eastern Pennsylvania. It was cheap and close enough to drive.
We got married 3 weeks after college grad and were preparing to sink all of our nonexistent dollars into immigration. We always planned to do a trip later to make up for it, but something always happened and we’d reschedule. We’re coming up on 14 years so the honeymoon ship has definitely sailed.
Disneyland. It's our favourite. We are totally Disney adults. Disneyland is awesome with no kids. Especially when you have a lot of time there. None of this getting up early and going all day. We're more of a get up whenever, mid-day nap type of people. I love everything about it and luckily found a partner that does too.

Road trip to Washington, DC! We stayed in Alexandria. We went to see the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, and enjoyed all that spooky season had to offer.
Riviera Maya in 2006. It was my H's first time on an airplane, which is crazy to think about now. I flew a lot as a kid, but had only been out of the country once at that time. H wanted to have kids right away after we were married, I told him I wanted to go to Europe first. We went to four countries over the next two years and that was my most favorite time of my life. Carefree, traveling Europe, totally in love without a care in the world.

First time: a Carribean cruise, because my parents offered to pay as our wedding gift
Second time: the cruise we were supposed to get married on was also the honeymoon. So, we had a fake wedding, the honeymoon, and then three months later, the legal wedding.
ETA: we were going to take a trip for our 5-year anniversary to the island we were supposed to get married on (St Thomas). But, Covid. Maybe for our 10 year anniversary.
First marriage- Greece. It was heavenly. Favorite husband- Martinique. Beautiful country, but I don’t know if it was for us as a honeymoon destination; we realized on this trip how high maintenance we are and have never looked back.
A cruise, but it went out of Cape Canaveral so we did Disney for a few days first.
ETA: I feel the need to clarify that I was 23 and had barely been anywhere, and I had no idea HOW to travel beyond the US (never had a passport). Were I to take a honeymoon now, the honeymoon we took would be approximately 212th on my list of preferences.
St Lucia From what I remember, picking and booking the honeymoon was my Ex’s job and that’s where he picked! I enjoyed it.
I didn’t want to know where we were going for our honeymoon until the last minute, because the stress of planning for the wedding was already a lot and I knew my fear of flying would make me overly fixate on that and I’d be miserable in the weeks leading up, so I handed off all honeymoon planning to H. There’s really nice pictures of our first dance where it looks like he’s whispering sweet nothings into my ear and I’m just glowing with love, but really he was saying “And the resort has swim up bars and hammocks out over the water where you can read” lol.
We left the next morning for the Excellence resort in Playa Mujeres. Great pick by him, highly recommend.
Alaskan Cruise, leaving out of Vancouver BC (we drove up from Seattle). My H picked it because he wanted to go, and May is a semi-decent time to take those cruises.
It's the only vacation he's ever planned all by himself. 😆
Also, we had also just bought our house so we had no money and did no excursions. Some day maybe I'll get to ride a dogsled out to a glacier.
We went here too! It was funny though we got a gift certificate for some of it so we went to the most expensive resort, and we were the youngest people there by far. In the lounge that you wait for the shuttle in there were tons of young honeymoon couples, but they all filtered out as they called the shuttles for the other Couples resorts.
We also got married very young which didn't help. It was a good time though we enjoyed it a lot!

Hawaii for 12 days. Four in Honolulu and the rest in Maui.
As far as Disney, I haven’t been since I went on college spring break but we plan to take DD in the next couple of years. It’s something I kinda dread because I hate crowds (of families) and long lines and planning every minute of my vacation in advance, but I’ll probably end up enjoying it.

Ireland. DH planned the whole thing and did well. We stayed at a variety of places (B&Bs, Inn, Castle, Boutique Hotel) and saw everything we wanted to see at our own pace.
