Not sure if these are just available in the PNW, but Tillamook and Umpqua.
I really want some Umpqua chocolate brownie thunder right now.
I only buy Tillamook when it's on sale, otherwise I'm cheap and buy the Safeway Select Vanilla bean, because I'm probably putting a ton of butterscotch syrup on it, or eating it on a crisp. I don't actually need fancy ice cream when the ice cream isn't the star.
Tillamok (im sure i spelled it wrong). Look, i made I've made ive cream professionally in a commercial kitchen. Tillamook is the only one I'll buy from the grocery store on a regular basis. Ben and jerrys or hagen daz on occasion.
Bluebell homemade vanilla is my favorite vanilla, but I dont like vanilla bean styles (with the little seeds visible)
Bluebell dutch chocolate is also great, and I like their mint choc chip and cookies n cream (these are like standard, solid quality ice creams, always have a half gallon in the freezer, not too expensive when bought on sale)
Jeni's brown butter almond brittle is beyond delicious, pricey though, especially bc I will just eat the whole pint at once
Jeni's bramblebererry crisp is equally fantastic and a nice summer flavor
Talenti has a great raspberry sorbet for non dairy option
I also love getting a quart of sweet cream (with chocolate chips mixed in) from cold stone creamery (as I get older and bougier I keep this in my freezer more than bluebell)
Now I have to try Tillamook! We only got it here the last few years and I didn’t know it was supposed to be good!
My favorite is Friendly’s Forbidden Chocolate. Turkey Hill is good. Weis made a really good sherbet and then stopped—twisted cactus? I haven’t forgiven them.

How far is Prairie Farms’ reach? My dad always finishes the night with a few scoops of Prairie Farms Swirl (or as he calls it, “Squirrel”) and it’s my favorite.
We live in Michigan and we pretty much only buy Hudsonville (favorite flavors: Deer Trax, Traverse City Cherry, Strawberry Cheesecake, and I just found limited edition Peanut Butter s'mores earlier this week)
We will get Guernseys every once in a while but they usually just have the basic flavors at the grocery store.
When I’m in Texas, Bluebell. That’s some good stuff.
I always lie and say I love it when I’m at my best friend’s in Columbus, but I’m only lukewarm on Jeni’s. I think Graeters is better and wish we could get it in Maine.
I will sentimentally always love Ben and Jerry’s best—I’ve been eating it since the 1980s.
