We are getting our flights for thanksgiving - flying Boston to Dallas. Flights are almost NINE HUNDRED dollars. For a fairly short domestic flight between two major hubs. WTF, I have NEVER seen flights so expensive for this route, even for holidays. It’s as much as we pay to fly to Hawaii. Every airline, too! (except Spirit but that’s a hell no).
I know they aren’t going down at this point but I can’t stomach paying this tonight. Im going to wait a few days.
Not sure if Southwest is one of those airlines, but Costco has gift cards on sale right now, $500 gift card for $430.

cjcouple I'm so sorry you are stressed, that sounds like a lot. Not telling you about a car accident isn't great either. I hope something improves for you soon.
He's in pain even right now. LOL. He went out with his team and also a group that is trying to get a contract from his team. They ended up in karaoke. He's always been a night owl but this is way more than I'd be able. I'm tired by 11pm!
Wow! No bars here are open past 2am and that's just on the weekends. UK weeknight nightlife is happening!
You can go to nightclubs all night long and into the morning. It's more central London than anywhere else.
It's been 15 years since my Dad passed. Some years, his birthday passes and I just think about him fondly, while other years, it's a deep pain all over again. And for some reason, I've been missing him a lot lately. Grief is a very weird animal.
DS has been sick for the past 3.5 days with a stuffy nose, mild cough, and sore throat. No fever or tiredness. He's taken 3 home covid tests and they've all been negative, but we took him to urgent care for a strep test (rapid test was negative), PCR, flu, and RSV test. I hate having to wait for the results.
DS had this recently and it was just a viral infection the doctor said. He was tested for everything and they all came back negative.
Well yep. Negative for Covid, strep, flu a, flu b, and RSV. Guess just a nasty virus.
