Never. I also live in a rural area where stations aren't great. We have XM in both cars. My car is old and doesn't have a port to plug a phone in, so I like the XM. When I get a newer vehicle, I'd probably unsubscribe to it and just listen to podcasts or Amazon Music which I use at home.
Only XM. I can’t even remember the last time I listened to “regular” radio in my own car. Anytime I’m in my brother’s car I’m always so thrown off because he listens to the local radio stations and I’m always amazed at how the same DJs are still on air playing the same songs they’ve always played. I feel like I’m exposed to such a wider array of songs and artists via XM.
My FI just bought a new car, and apparently some manufacturers have stopped providing the ability to use XM in their cars. I was really surprised that FI is completely unable to listen to XM through his car radio (he has to steam it through his phone to do it). I would hate that!

Nope. I listen to my own playlists about 75% of the time and Sirius the rest of the time. As a result I’m woefully unaware of most popular music. Most of it seems pretty awful though.

Yes, but I use a smart device to stream my local radio station, so does that count? It's about half and half whether I listen to the radio or stream from youtube music in the car.
daily. NPR mostly, as that is my number one news source, but if it is mid day or something I will churn through the local radio stations and if they have nothing I like, I will then stream.
Sometimes. If I’m going to be in the car for awhile, I’ll listen to playlists through my phone. But if I’m running quick errands or something, I’ll just turn on the radio.
Yes, my car is a 2014 and I have to plug in my phone and then push some buttons to make it play through the phone, then I have to switch it over to spotify and it's a whole thing I'm not dealing with at 7am on my way to work.
So I just listen to the radio. I like being able to flip stations between different genres.
No, when we lived in NC, we were rural enough that nothing came in well. We also did a lot of traveling since we didn't live near either family and wanted Sirius/XM for dead zones. Now it's a combination of Sirius/XM, streaming podcasts, saved music, and spotify.

Luddite check in lol! I listen to our local morning show most weekdays. I love the hosts, I like their chatter and content so much. They actually left our market for a larger one for a short time and then came back and I was so glad. They’d been replaced with a syndicated show and I hated it. I love hearing local stuff.
Only when I’m in a car with someone who listens to it, and the commercials drive me crazy. On my own, never. We have satellite or I’ll play my phone through the car speakers.
I listen to one of the local morning shows in the morning. Once they are done at 10am, if I'm in the car, then I listen to Sirius or a podcast. My DH got rid of Sirius in his car and only listens to the radio. (He has a very short commute, so he didn't think it was worth it).

Yes. I listen any time I'm in the car, so commuting three days during the week and running errands on the weekend or whatnot. I'm also a kind of lucky person because I frequently win radio contests. I just won tickets to a 4 day country music festival a few weeks ago.
Typically, NPR. Though lately it’s been playlists (because I do not want to hear about the election already). I wish I could stream Spotify, but I actually don’t have an unlimited data plan. Cause I’m cheap lol
My kid likes one of the local radio stations so I'll put it on for the way to school. After drop off I usually switch to Sirius unless the roads are bad then I leave it on in case anything is impacting my commute.

Yep. I have 5 stations programmed in, plus I listen to KYW, news radio, 1060. What used to be the oldies station when I was a kid now plays 80s which cracks me up because I guess that's oldies to my kid!
Never. I used to if I wanted to catch a local hockey or football score but we have some pretty diehard fans in our area and now I can get those on social media.
Sometimes in the car. I usually listen to podcasts in the car, but if it's a short trip to the store or to drop off/pick up DS from school, then I usually just listen to the radio.
