A friend of mine got a huge set of Le Creuset pots/pans for his 15 yr. I got a company thank you card which my direct supervisor signed for my 10 year at my last job.
yes. Starting at 5 years and every 5 year anniversary from then on you get to choose a "gift." People are bitching because they aren't as nice as they used to be.
DS also got to choose a gift at 5 years. He is with a well known engineering company.

I haven't been anywhere long enough to find out but I'm pretty sure the answer is no, at least nothing worthwhile.
Well I take that back. Once we are at the university 2 years we get an extra $20/month in our paycheck for longevity pay. It increases every couple of years. I didn't even know about it until it showed up in my paycheck.

HAHAHAHA! My CEO would die laughing at the thought of giving gifts. At my dad’s job, he gets one every 5 years. They used to be a lot better. He’s at 39 years now & the company is only 40 years old. I think that deserves more than a $50 crap gift every 5 years!
At 5 years I got to pick a gift card from a list of retailers. I ended up with a $500 gift card to pottery barn. We also get 5 more PTO days which is nice. At ten years, instead if an additional 5 days of PTO you get an extra weeks pay.

I have 32 years here tomorrow. quit laughing, it can happen to you.. We get gifts on 5 year anniversaries. I dont' remember them all, we pick from a catalog but for one I got an black opal and diamond necklace that I love, a nice watch, this last one I got a HUGE leather recliner. I love it. It wasn't what I wanted - I wanted 2 adirondack chairs, footstools and a end table that went between them but they were out of stock. I don't know what my options will be for 35 and I do expect to be here for it - and my 40th and then Peace out, bit.... you know. My 30th cost about $650 retail. I'm guessing 35 will be $800 range and 40th probably in the $1000 range. I used to love my job, now I just want to hang on til retirement and get out of here. I get 5 weeks vacation a year, 4 personal days and no longer earn sick leave because I have so much built up.
FIL used to work for Enron, and they got grandfather clocks for each 5 year anniversary after 25 years. So he got 3 grandfather clocks. We have one, FIL has one, and BIL has one.
At three years I got 50% more PTO and I'll get a pin at 5 years, a paperweight at 10 years, a plaque and additional PTO at 15 years and from then on I think it's just certificates and plaque type things.

My wonderful company lately seems to hate keeping anyone employed for any extended period of time. Just this week we've randomly fired a 24 year vet, a 14 year vet and a 12 year vet.
You can bet your cookies that when my 5 year rolls around in Jan I'm going to be as tight lipped as possible and pray it goes by without mention. Seriously, it sucks.
I have not ever had an employer who did this. I don't know anyone you gets gifts for work anniversaries. GIfts when a person retires, yes, anniversaries, no.
Not sure anymore. I did get a $250 GC to Amazon when I hit 5 years. That was pretty awesome, I bought a really nice 3 knife set. 10 years next May, we'll see if they do anything. I work for a tiny company, so this all depends on what kind of mood the CEO is in. Lately (past year, since we reorganized), management has been treating employees like crap, so I'm figuring nothing.
