I just gobbled up The Hunger Games and Catching Fire in four days (starting Mockingjay tonight). I don't know how I managed to avoid the hype about these for this long but I'm glad I gave in because I'm really enjoying the series... how embarrassing, haha.
So what are you reading right now? Anything you just can't seem to put down? I need something new to dive into this weekend!

If you loved the Hunger Games trilogy you'll love the Divergent series. Only 2 of the 3 are released, but they are amazing. Divergent (#1) and Insurgent (#2). Very good, can't put them down type books.
I also just got done with "The Art of Racing in the Rain". It was very good, a little sad, but very well written and very different concept.
H&F - Skinny Rules - Excellent breakdown with great supportive facts and not at all dry, outlines how to eat to get and stay thin. I'm looking for a little support on the last 10-15lbs and maintenance.
Non H&F - The Silent Girl (Tess Gerritsen) I've been reading her books forever, but she wrote the books that inspired the Rizolli and Isles show on TBS. She's a great author.

A Dance with Dragons. Book 5 of the Song of Fire and Ice series.
The Divergent trilogy is on my list, as well as Fall of the Giants and it's sequel as well as The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear.
I hate starting a trilogies/series before all of the books have been written and released. I'm going to have to wait YEARS for the next Fire & Ice book. And all of those others on my list are incomplete trilogies. Ugh.

I chained GRRM to his desk so he finishes the next 2 books before he dies. His only allowed breaks are to watch NFL games (he's a huge football fan) and to have 1 really big meal/week. Otherwise he gets warm water and stale bread. Write faster!

I am reading The Girl Who Caught on Fire or whatever the 2nd Dragon Tattoo book is.

Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. LOVE, love, loving it! Hooked me in from the very first page.
Deep Nutrition: Why your genes need traditional food by Catherine Shanahan. Loving it and it's changing the way I view food and nutrition, but the first 6 chapters, although essential, are slow-going.
Pure and Simple: the extraordinary teachings of a Thai Buddhist laywoman by Upasika Kee Nanayon. Also loving this.
Right now I'm working on Pillars of the Earth (*so close* to finished). Not sure what I will tackle next, this one has taken a while
What did you think of it? This one and The Poisonwood Bible sit side by side on my bookshelf. I've picked them both up so many times and just can't get into either one, but everyone I know raves about them both.

The beginning of Poisonwood Bible is hard, keep at it. It gets really, really good!
I'm a little embarrassed to admit I'm reading What Remains by Carole Radziwill (one of the Real Housewives of NYC)... but she has had a very interesting life and so far the book has been a quick, good read!

This is the next book on my list
I read this quite some time ago, before she was a RHNYC. In fact, I had no idea she was until this post! I remember being quite surprised and moved by the book. It's hard to say that I enjoyed it, because there's a hell of a lot of loss there, but it was fascinating.

On what page will I stop wanting to poke either her or my eyes out with a rusty knife? I want to love this book so badly. I love Barbara Kingsolver and the plot is so up my alley but when I read it I just...don't. Yet I can't bring myself to give up on it altogether!

I know very little about her (aside from watching RHONY (omg dont tell anyone!), & her Bravo blog), but she fascinates me. Glad to hear your review. Im excited to read it.

I read a lot of action fiction, probably not what most of ya'll read.
Current book: First Family by David Baldacci Next up: Mud, Snow, and Cyclocross by Moly Hurford (history of cyclocross in the US) Next: Locked On by Tom Clancy

Oh yea, my mom added this to my Ipad. I think I'll start it soon.
I've been reading 11/22/63 for a couple months now. It's taking me a while to get through it for some reason, even though I like it. I want to finish it, but I keep starting other books in between.
