I have dessert maybe once a month but sweets aren't really my thing. If you would have asked me about salty snacks after dinner (crackers, chips, pretzels) my answer would be almost every night!
i dont think 250 cals is a lot. it's 1 candy bar (or 2-3 funsize bars), 2-3 cookies, a small cupcake, 1/2 large cupcake, a donut, a small bowl of good ice cream, a larger bowl of lowfat ice cream, a piece of pie, etc. I think all those things on their own are reasonable.
I probably eat 250 cals worth of dessert a day, but not in one sitting. I usually eat a cookie + some M&Ms throughout the day and have some ice cream or chocolate after dinner.

Goes back to peoples priorities. Not one to feel entitled to anything though and I try to eat to function. If I am full thats it I don't eat anymore. I am going for being more toned myself, and to be healthy. There are healthy options for dessert, mixed with protein is normally what I been making, helps with the chocolate cravings. All and all, people can eat what they want though and depending on your goal, many toned body parts are made in the kitchen, its a simple science.

but is 250 calories really worth a "wow"? being healthy is not about restricting, but about balance. If you eat 1500 calories of healthy food a day, I think 250 non-healthy calories is reasonable.
but thank you for the advise, i was wondering why my legs are not more tone. those damn delicious pretzel M&Ms!!! maybe if i stop eating them, i will run a 5 minute mile.
