Yes. I can't even give my actual job title without breaking confidentiality. the answer I gave in yesterdays post is the only one I'm legally allowed to give.

I manage people. Outside of client lists and company pricing info, most of the privacy stuff relates to employee performance, individual employee compensation, hiring/firing, etc. However, I report to the VP and President and they blab everything (to other managers, to one of them's brother who I manage, to the other reps who drink or golf with them) so there's no true privacy to be had.

I work at a bank so, yes. I can easily get a lot of information about someone by logging into the computer program.
ETA: I also work at a clothing store and the only thing I can't really do is talk about how much money we're making. I can't think of much else I absolutely can't talk about.
Yes. There have been some leaks to the media lately and so there have been regular reminders to keep your trap shut.
Also, I'm totally laughing at a 3 year non-compete clause for the pretzel place. I'm assuming you were a cashier since it was HS (I did read that right didn't I)? There is no way that could be enforceable.
Well, every single new hire at my company signs a confidentiality agreement. We all handle a degree of personal information and company intellectual property.
I also work in HR, so there's that. Although my day to day doesn't require much confidentiality (training) I do have to be careful about what I repeat/don't repeat.

Yes to an extent. We cannot discuss our guidelines/rules for what we do and we cant really discuss what we have in the lab. I can be vague about some stuff; I did get to see one of the rarest natural color diamonds in the world last week but I cant divulge its details (color, size, etc).
Anything that is on display in the museum/lobby is fair game since it is usually on the website.
