At least ten people on this board would have been run off NBC for their Outlander hate. FTR, I really liked Outlander, but I'm really enjoying people being completely honest about it.
I just started reading the posts over here and I'm loving the honesty as well! Different strokes for different folks.

I was/am an occasional poster. I think I will hang out on both boards. The more recommendations I can get the better. I really like the Outlander series and adore non-fiction, so I hope I'll fit in everywhere.
I think Ivy's sole reason for overdosing is to take the spotlight away from Karen.
I also don't think it's fair to say that just because you say no to a proposal that the relationship should end. I always found that logic to be...weird. Can't someone just not WANT to wt married (right now) but still be plenty happy with where their relationship currently stands?
You're right, they can; but in this case I think they should break up. They annoy me as a couple.
And I thought it was stupid she said no to getting engaged by saying "But...I'm in tech!" That doesn't make sense. Was he suggesting that they get married RIGHT THAT VERY SECOND and I missed that detail?
I was thinking the same thing when she said "no". Umm, Kathryn, he didn't mean right now. I'm thinking maybe she was really overwhelmed and caught off guard and couldn't imagine adding one more thing to her plate. Maybe? I love them as a couple, but now that he's cheated on her twice I wonder if they can come back from that.
I loved this episode. I felt so bad for Booth but I felt like he almost was happy they took the choice out of his hands. I can't wait for next season.
Gah! Was this the season finale?!?!!? Jerks. I should have known. It was a really difficult episode to watch - especially with how calm Bones was being. I wanted to reach out and hug Booth at the end!

Very very rarely. Maybe once or twice a month. This results in eating very late some days (he takes kung fu lessons twice a week and doesn't get home until 9:30), but we really enjoy cooking and eating together. Sometimes it's the only time we have together for the day.

Our marriage counseling (as well as individual therapy) helped us through my husband's affair.
ETA: And to answer your other questions: I think the overwhelming belief out there is that only screwed up marraiges need counseling, but I think all couples could benefit. I really think one's true colors come out in sessionns. If MH hadn't been as willing to go to therepy and so open and hard working during the sessions our marriage wouldn't have survived.
Most everyone that I interact with on a daily basis knows that we used to be in therapy even if they don't know why.
If it makes you feel any better- Dh's ford Escape with 120K miles on it completely died on Friday --- the engine just went POOF - and would cost $8K to fix... which is silly b/c it's not even worth that much.
So we got an $8K car that is slightly newer, less miles, and a sedan... so better on gas. We didn't have 8K to throw down on a car... but here we are - ugh. So our weekend was very NOT MM for sure.
Yikes, that sucks! If it were my luck the insurance company with fix my car and then the engine will die a couple of months later. It seems like every time we get to a point that we can start beefing up our e-fund something big happens. Ah well, it is what is is. And there's no use worrying about it until I know if it's totaled or not.

I have a 1999 Honda Accord with 120,000 miles on it, and she's got a lot of time left if people would stop trying to destroy her.
I was side swiped by an out of control police car back in October. We got really lucky that insurance agreed to fix it. Now this weekend someone rear ended me and the trunk is completely crunched in. Grrrr.
So now I'm off to the car rental place, after that the tow yard to pay that bill and then to the body shop. I will get reimbursed for everything, but it's still irritating.
I'll find out today if the damage is repairable or if they will call it totaled.

I got rear ended while driving home from taking my dog to the vet this afternoon. We are both fine as is the guy that hit us. I have a seatbelt for my dog but I don't usually put it on him when we go to the vet - we go pretty often because it's also where I work - because the clinic is right down the street from my house. We got hit really hard, so he will be wearing it everytime he gets in the car from now one. I never would have forgiven myself if he had been hurt. I have been very sore all day so I've been taking it easy most of the day. I went to bed a while ago, but now I can't get to sleep. Hopefully pain meds will kick in soon...

We just cancelled last week. Finances have been a little tight lately, and I realized that most of what I watched was on hulu+ and netflix. So far so good.
ETA: I'm posting from my nook and just realized that I am able to post with javascript enabled! That makes me very happy.
