My heart breaks for the families. I mourn the loss of the service member, but the family left behind as such an arduous task ahead of them. I hope the widow has a good support network.

That does suck. I'm sorry your family is having to deal with this. And, $900/month is, I bet, providing all is well with your Nanny and the house.
My grandmother did not want to go into a nursing home, but it got to the point where she had to. She had dementia that was getting worse. Once transitioned in, she was actually quite happy.
I hope you know that I meant big in a good way. As I sat back down, I realized that some people might take that the wrong way. You look especially rockin' in número dos!

I agree that Military Life could get confused with Married Life, if shortened. What about. . . Crap. I've got nuthin'. Sorry.
As for Mod, I think TX is doing a fab job. I'll throw my hat in the ring as a secondary. Given the time difference, I'm up and typically on line six hours earlier than the East Coast. Not trying to take over, just provide additional support.

With our recent move to Germany, the movers were more particular about liquids. Our stuff was in transit for over two months--there was more opportunity for liquids to explode or leak. And, if things were damaged, being overseas, it would be more difficult to replace (and, I think, though I could be wrong, not covered by insurance since liquids aren't supposed to be transported). For the things that I did move/mail/pack in my suitcase, I double bagged in Ziplock bags and, for move/mail--I wrapped the bags in moving tape. I may have gone overboard--but, I didn't want to have wasted money on my Aveda hair products and I didn't want to deal with the clean-up.

I also voted for the Balkans trip, for the same reasons--I'd like to go and the other two areas are more easily accessed from the States. But, any of the three trips would be great!

I get that the Knot/Nest/Bump needs to change to try to remain current. But, when their (seemingly minimally tested) changes cause a thousand plus users to bail, it's a clue that something with the new roll-out is NOT working. For real.
And with that, bitches, I've got a toddler to chase and boxes to unpack. Auf wiedersehen!

I LOVE SBB!! Hmm, I didn't mean to yell. Sorry! I'm just excited about the book and that "Suri" will be blogging more. With our move, I was not checking it as often and was always disappointed when there weren't many new entries.
