The thing about celiac is that the symptoms can be similar to any number of other illnesses. So sure, it sounds Iike it could be celiac, but it could also be a bunch of other stuff.
I gained a few pounds too Elle...lets commiserate together
Excellent. I want someone who does not weigh more than me to complain to. Because I feel guilty/stupid complaining to people who weigh more than me and have no aspirations to weigh what I do.
I don't know if I weigh more than you, probably do, but I gained about 3lbs since November because of a combination of things, and it is bothering me way more than It should. Logically, I know I can drop it again in a couple of weeks with a small amount of effort, but it feels like a failure because I got off track and allowed it to happen.

So I am at this work event (still). I took the opportunity to sneak out during the question portion of a talk to use the restroom. My seat had my very visible bag, my jacket hanging off the back and a bottle of water sitting on the armrest.
When I got back from the restroom, some tool was sitting in the seat next to mine and had put his stuff on my seat on top of my stuff. I said, "excuse me" and he moved his legs to let me pass without looking up. I just stood there and looked at him, and he eventually looked up and then moved his stuff.

I do not think I would recognize someone I have only seen in pictures, unless I was specifically looking for them. I doubt I would even recognize most celebrities.

A lot, I think. I have several friends here, plus everyone who has recognized me from friends-of-friends on FB. Plus SS, which is super, super awesome.
I have pretty much given up worrying about it. If you know my name, you know everything about me. So, whatever, I guess. No one has tried to murder me yet.

I guess I assumed it was more common because my mom and I both get it. I also lose my balance a lot. I'm pretty much a mess, actually. Brain not work good.
It happens to my mom too. I also forget basic, everyday words and slur my speech, does that happen to you? I've never met anybody who said they forget words.
WE CAN BE MIGRAINE TWINSSSS!!!
I don't think that is too uncommon, it happens to both me and my mom. I forget words and often jumble my words when I am trying to speak (wrong order, wrong words, etc.). Transient aphasia.
