Since I finished college, I've lived in two countries and three states. I've learned so much and had such a fun time living in different places. I currently live 25 hours from my parents (and my in-laws). Even though it sucks that I can't be there when times are tough or on every holiday, it has been totally worth it to me. Just learning new streets and new restaurants is fun. I think living far away is a really great experience that has the potential to teach you new things and new ways of life--just about everyone would benefit from doing it at least once!

I grew up there and went to college there. It might not be the most exciting place in the world, but it's a great place to raise a family. Its also gaining speed culturally--it has a lot more interesting events and concerts happening than it did 10 years ago. It has a great range of events too--from sports like the College World Series, to the indie movie theaters (Dundee and Filmstreams) to the zoo--there's a lot of options. I would totally move back home if it worked out, career-wise, for me.
