This happens to me from time to time. My go-to food choice in this situation is toast, soup, crackers, pretzels, yogurt, or ice cream. I can always eat those things.

I like almost all fall beers. Shit, I like almost all beers in general. In the fall I tend to drink Oktoberfest/Brown Ale/IPAs. I also looooooooooove this local Vanilla Porter from Breckenridge Brewery. Sounds weird, but it's very nice.
OH oh and ETA: Rogue makes this Hazelnut Ale...fantastic!

27th would probably work for me! I get back from a work trip on the 25th.
Nama - Estes is about an hour and a half max from Denver? It's a pretty drive. I've been to YMCA of the Rockies for camp! It was really fun, from what I remember. You should definitely go to Rocky Mountain National Park and drive up to the top. It's really beautiful.

I love the library por vida. Mine has knitting classes, cooking classes, movie nights, fashion shows, an awesome card catalog system to reserve any book I'd ever desire, plus all movies/tv shows/CDs. You can also get ebooks if you're into that. The library is my most favorite "store" ever.

I have found that it doesn't actually help with wrinkles OR make anything look "permanently pressed". That's all I know. But maybe it's my building's shitty ass washer/dryer.

Geomorphology - how the earth has moved and changed over time. I loved this class, the professor was amazing, we went on cool field trips, and I learned so much. If I had taken it as a freshman or soph, I would have switched my major.

I rent. I don't know if I'll ever buy. I live downtown and have a yard and love this lifestyle. Buying a house in this hood would be at least 500k, and truly more like 750-million plus. Not gonna happen. I can't even fathom living in the 'burbs, so I'm kind of stuck.

Dern - you should be able to surrender a stray/lost dog without a fee. When I worked at a no-kill, we did not charge people who brought in animals that were not theirs. They might ask for a donation, but that's pretty standard. Don't feel obligated to give a donation if you cannot afford it (but maybe you can afford a pack of paper towels or some old bedding/towels/blankets to donate?)

Man these people are weird. First, she forced me to drink her homemade wine. I'm pretty sure it was roofied because this morning I woke up (in wrinkled ass sheets, no less. She obviously does NOT iron her sheets) with a penis drawn on my head and my pants were on backward. I'm certain she knows my number now. Then today, she threw me in the mud. Repeatedly!! I mean seriously. All her husband wants to do is talk about balls and pooping. This place is really a nightmare.
Juuuuuust kidding. It's been wonderful. Despite the wrinkled bedding.
