I am kinda LMAO that there is so much passionate hatred for the WC board. Sucks that they are not going to post here, since there were lots of good ideas (at least IMO), but if they feel more comfortable on a private board, that is fine too.
I have just gone through something similar recently with my Grandmother, and it is really hard. Dyl is also going through this with his Grandmother right now. Not being able to do anything just plain sucks.
I am a woman age 46. As part of a longterm plan, I am interested to buy a hotel in Mexico, perhaps a small one, possibly in Guadalajara. I am looking for a friend possibly a gentleman who chooses to share the dream and wants to do it with me.
I do not want to hear from everyone, only people who have interest to go to Mexico or who want to discuss the hotel.
First people want an apology, now it's too little too late. Jeebus, never satisfied are you people! (I say this with love and my tongue stuffed in my cheek.)
I actually am glad they apologized, its just not enough to make me want to go back over there
Honestly, I think it's astounding that it's been four days since the roll out and it hasn't been fixed yet.
Exactly. The Nest/Knot/Bump is an online business. If Target launches a new site resign and it's all FUBAR, it would be annoying but understandable if they take a few days to fix/redesign etc, because Target's main business is operating actual stores, and online shopping is just one part of what they do.
WTF else does the Nest do besides, you know, operate the fucking Nest?
Well, come up with 10 party ideas for Memorial Day of course.
I don't work in Chicago, but out Chicago office is going to be closed. We got an email today saying that Counsel was going to work from home but everyone else was going to be completely off due to security and traffic/transportation concerns.
Oh, and as an emotional eater, I TOTALLY related to Betty coming home from seeing the beautiful apartment and skinny wife, and downing that spray whip cream.
Ditto! I adored the weight watchers part of this episode, and happy to have Betty back as a main part of an episode again.
I also thought that Megan did the best she could in that situation. That is a hard thing to try and handle. And yes, she let Sally manipulate her, but she has only been a step mom for a short while -- she doesn't have the whole parent thing down quite yet. I actually really like Megan, and I like Don with her.
It was interesting to see Don try to stay relevant this ep. He realizes that Ginsberg has overshadowed him talent wise, and it seems to finally really get to him that he is not at the top of his game anymore. The article in the paper about the cool ad agencies just highlighted that, so he had to prove himself.
We also did the how well do you know the bride one - but there is an alternative that might work in your situation. You ask the groom questions and see how many answers the bride can get correctly. Guests guess the number the bride will get right. We did this at my shower and it was fun-ish.
We did a word scramble at one that I threw, went over well and was just about the easiest thing ever. All the words that they hand to unscramble were wedding related. Plus: it is an individual game so no weird mingling required.
