In addition to this, I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a Z pack from some terrible illness and just threw out the packet of info that came with it and went straight to bed. Life doesn't always happen the way we plan. I think a LOT of us can relate to that general principle.
I don't think she actually thought it was an old-wives tale. She is a smart woman. It is her excuse. I do think she felt like she needed something else in her life and has wanted a baby forever. I'm side-eying the hell out of this.
I hope it works out for the best, but this was a dumb mistake.
Congrats, rikki. I'm really happy for you and sure you will be a great mom!
CONGRATS!!!!! You sound totally ready for this and will be a great mom. I may get flamed for this but I don't think people should be happy your ex is technically footing the bill for this...I find that sort of sickening actually. Two wrongs don't make a right and after hearing how horrible he was, I would want zero mention of him. You have such a bright future ahead. Again, congrats!!!
I took less alimony money so he'd keep me on his plan. I'm really paying for it I suppose since I'd have the cash otherwise. His insurance was just 1,000 times better than mine.

The reason pharmacists and physicians warn you is because the risk is super small but if you get pregnant, you could sue us. (Have heard of successful lawsuits regarding this) so we overhype it just in case. Even the back up method of birth control for the first month pf taking the pill is super cautious and probably not required.
