#1 - second cycle off BCP's, cycle regulated right away #2 - second cycle off Mirena IUD, cycle regulated right away #3 - second cycle off Mirena IUD, cycle was 46 days and then 34 days (normally 28), so never really regulated
I feel VERY blessed (and I'm not even religious) to have had things happen so quickly.

I stopped BC pills and tracked my cycles (temping). It took three cycles for everything to become regular. I charted to avoid for about a year. The first month we decided to TTC and not avoid during the fertile time, I got pregnant.

DD - 1st month after being told by DH's RE urologist if we wanted children we'd want to go an IVF with ICSI but to "chart and have fun with it" .... surprise! DS - 6 months post-embedded IUD removal, including a miscarriage the cycle prior with charting, OPKs, and temping. We literally got the green light to TTC two days before I ovulated after not finding any issues with my repeat pregnancy loss testing (it was my 3rd m/c).
Good lord I'm jealous of all the "first cycle" people! I went off BC and started TTC at the same time. It took us 18 months to conceive DS, no m/c or anything. At first we were in no rush, so we had sex whenever and thought "it would happen on its own." When it didn't, I started using OPKs and charting. I had a regular cycle and was ovulating. After 6 months of have sex at the right time each month I was getting really discouraged and worried. I was literally at the OB's office to get a referral to a fertility specialist when I got PG the next cycle.

I was never on hormonal BC. I started charting in May to figure out my cycles. Stopped using condoms after my period in July and was pregnant in August.
I thought it would take a lot more time than just one month, I was expecting at least 6 months. Boy I was wrong.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

I went off the pill and we tried for a year. I started charting my second cycle off the pill. Some cycles we tried to time things, others we did not. Then we charted to avoid for six months. About this time I talked with my OBGYN. If we were not pregnant in six months we would start additional testing. It took the full six months, but we did get pregnant on our own before we did any testing.

With #1, my cycles were textbook right away after coming off BCP. It still took 12 months/14 cycles to conceive.
With #2, my cycles were all over the place. The first one off BCP was over 100 days long (I stopped counting at that point, eventually my OB was able to jump start things but even that took several attempts). I conceived after 9 months, maybe 4 or 5 cycles at most? And that was a total surprise...I had a luteal phase defect and had just dropped off prescriptions for Clomid and something else to see if that helped. Fortunately the pharmacy needed 5-7 days to get insurance approval so I hadn't picked them up/paid for them yet because during that time I got my BFP.
1st-4th cycle off BCP 2nd and 3rd I didn't use BC after. I didn't get a period until after I stopped BFing, and had one AF before getting pregnant each time. My second breastfed longer, and then it took an extra 6 months before I got AF, hence the larger age gap.
