-What do you have booked? -What are you considering? -Where have you been recently?
I have Ireland, Guam, and Saipan ahead of me this spring/summer. We finalized plans and finished booking flights yesterday. Woot!
Anyone have insight on the two latter destinations?
We got back from Hawaii about 6 or 8 weeks ago, and are also considering a return trip to Iceland in the late fall. Either Iceland, or Texas. Right now Iceland is coming in as less expensive, so we are leaning towards that. Go figure.
We are headed to Vegas in a week and half. We got married there and are headed there for our anniversary.
At the end of May, we are headed to Chicago.
You should zipline at Bootleg Canyon. Get a rental car on Travelocity for $20, drive to the canyon, get lunch, then see the Hoover Dam, which is like 10 mins up the road from the canyon.
We are currently planning a road to to Missoula, Glacier National Park, and a yet-to-be-determined lake in North Idaho. We need to get that nailed down this weekend.
The last place I went was San Antonio, and the next place I'll be going is Charlotte. Both are for work though...
I am jealous of your trips. After much discussion and many hypothetical itineraries, we decided to go easy on international travel this year. DH has a good friend who is currently living in Switzerland and we hope to use this to springboard a fairly large European trip in 2013.
So this year:
May: 5 night cruise to Bahamas from Charleston June: 3 nights in Wisconsin cabin with huge group of friends July: wedding in Kentucky- will probably add Mammoth Cave and whiskey tours October: Scottsdale, AZ
Probably a few more domestic trips along the way. We expect another big Asia trip sometime in 2013 as well depending on IL's plans.
Planning a camping trip to Vermont for mid July. Sleeping in a tent, cooking over a fire, shitting in the woods, the whole deal. I can't wait! And best of all, it's CHEAP.
I will miss you although I am currently hanging out and drinking at O'Hare in between a business trip and a family wedding.
We'll be there with friends, so they are pretty much dictating our schedule, which includes waking up early for breakfast, as well as boarding some pirate ship.

We did a southern Caribbean cruise in November and are getting married in Jamaica the week after next, so we'll be there for a week.
We will likely do Vegas for a weekend in late summer/early fall. The next big trip we'll do will be in January and not sure where yet. I'd like to do the southeastern US coast or possibly Spain.
I have nothing planned at the moment. But we are debating between Yellowstone and Iceland late summer/early fall.
I have never been to Yellowstone, but we're already considering a return trip to Iceland. (We were there late Aug/early Sept.) It was so amazing. Let me know if you have any questions. We stayed at the Hilton which was very reasonably priced, and within walking distance of the city center.

All of my traveling this summer is for friends' weddings or family. This was supposed to be the year we went on an actual vacation but then everyone decided to get married.
Next week: NJ to visit parents, then go to Pittsburgh for a wedding, then back to NJ for a few more days.
July: Chicago for a wedding & to visit in-laws
October: MA for a wedding
November/December: Philly to visit my new niece or nephew
Other than that, just some weekend trips here in TX.

I'm not arrrrrrguing with them.
I am laughing out loud like a creepster in the Admiral's Club. I have lived near Chicago my entire life and I have never heard of a pirate ship attraction.
we're going home (ny/pa) for a wedding this summer and to visit family, but we're looking into Hawaii next spring. h and i have never been on vacation that didn't include staying with a family member so i'm super pumped for this. nothing really planned for it yet except setting aside some money for it.

In June: Renting a house on a lake in the Finger Lakes with my parents, doing a week of winery hopping and R&R. In Sept: Cruise to the Bahamas. It's a MM cruise because we got it 1/2 off when our last cruise ship sailed into a massive storm and a bunch of rooms got flooded (but not ours).
In October, we're doing two weeks in London/Paris/Amsterdam. We have flights and our Paris lodging booked, but still in process on everything else. (And open to suggestions!)

Going to Kauai in 15 days! I'm getting really excited for this one Heading up to see the in-laws of 4th of July. I'm hoping we can make a trip to the Pictured Rocks.
My sister also just told me a secret - that our cousin *might* be getting married in Cancun over Christmas.

Nothing extravagant : camping at Jetty Park (cocoa beach) in June. Possibly the Bahamas in August - depends on whether or not my Dad buys a boat in the next few weeks. (We take our own boat from Florida to Grand Bahama for lobster season).
