I don't have a dog in this fight, but I think there is a little inconsistency about offensiveness. What she said was gross, but I've seen (and still see) some equally inappropriate gifs and pictures around here, some involving minors.
Pls don't tell me we're back to tefs signature again.
Yeah. Hello again, Seesaw.
I support the banning on the grounds that Seesaw is the most boring, unimaginative, tedious, whiny troll I think we've seen.
I don't even know what an app is. My phone is ancient and I don't even have texting or internet on it.
And I'm not really understanding the "take it up with TLC" argument. So TLC permits sexual material involving minors and because they say it's OK, it's OK everywhere? The TV station that is basically a circus freak show exploiting people for money decides what is appropriate? lol
That's like saying, "Hey, I found this child porn, but it belongs to ______ website. Take it up with them if you don't like it."
It's not my style - "funny" at the expense of innocent little girls dressed like hookers gyrating on a stage. But whatever you guys think is funny. All I see is inconsistency.
Honestly I am not sure how well offend-offs would go over on proboards. A lot of what's usually posted would probably violate TOU. But basically, we have already been in hot water with them twice and I would prefer not to get shut down because of a troll. It might be different if s/he posted for real anywhere, but this was someone who had several names and all of them were used to troll different boards here. I'm not going to stick my neck out for someone who isn't a community member. She has also already had previous warnings and I have had to delete prior posts of hers that violated the terms.
Why not tell the accurate truth and show how many times I have posted under any other name than Seesaw since agreeing to do it for ease of communication. I am also very curious what other posts of mine you deleted for violating the toa and why I was never notified of these violations.
Also note that the new member posting from my home account under norrin is my husband. I pointed out the impossibility of he and I being the same person posting from totally different locations at the same time. Maybe you can't see locations though you can ban by location....
In any case sorry for saying pXssy if that was the offensive word.

Actually, no. child porn is illegal. Toddlers and Tiaras is not. But love how *we* are the problem and not, you know, the law.

Seriously, s/he's brutal. I'm not even entertained - I just read through wishing s/he'd shut up already because everything s/he posts is so effing stupid.

This is awesome: BUT BUT BUT how will my husband post from home now!?!??!

You might not have the internet on your phone, but you obviously have it somewhere so I find it incredibly hard to believe you have no idea what an app is.
All I know is that it is a link of some kind. I have never used one and don't really know how they work. Do people use apps on home computers? I use a PC, so maybe that's the difference?

The law is definitely the problem. But you know, I don't count on the law to guide me morally. Maybe that's where we differ.

....do you even watch TV? Serious question.
We have TVs in our house, but they aren't hooked up to anything. I think DHs TV in the basement is currently hooked up to a digital converter box, because he sometimes watches ball games down there, but he only gets 2-3 local channels.
We only use our TVs for viewing videos. I watch some shows that interest me online.
The law is definitely the problem. But you know, I don't count on the law to guide me morally.
....wait, what?
My point is that just because something is morally fine in the eyes of the law (like abortion or in this case, children being sexually objectified for entertainment on television), doesn't make it morally acceptable for me. My morals are guided by something else.

WTF. Tef's picture is not child porn. It's disturbing, but it's not porn. The definition isn't who whacks to it. I'm sure people have whacked to many pictures online, possibly even mine, but that doesn't mean I'm posting pornography.
Regardless, I believe trolling is a bannable offense, and seesaw engages in trolling IMO.

Ok, fine, aw, since you're begging us to ask.... where do you get your morals from that are better than the law?
If you say the bible, I'm pretty thrilled with our laws b/c I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have liked being married to a rapist nor being stoned for having sex before my wedding day.
But, to avoid too much of a rabbit hole, Tef's picture objectively is not child porn. If you morally think so, you're free to leave the forum and join one that defines it as such. Per proboards' terms, they use the objective legal standard. I'm sure there are fundie forums out there that are more to your moral liking.
Aw what is going on with you? Are you bored lately and trying to stir things up? Is everything OK? Was there a medication change of some sort?
Not trying to stir things up. Everyone made it clear after the Good Friday offensiveness fiasco that people aren't worried about offensiveness here. I'm not going to worry about who gets upset with my opinions anymore, since they are my "truth".
But I am actually bored right now. Kids are napping and it's hot so I don't want to cook. As I mentioned before, I don't have TV. You guys are my entertainment.

I have short-term memory loss( i think). Can I get a recap of the Good Friday offensive post? Was this the epic thread about using the lords name in vain?
Say stupid shit - You get banned Have common sense - You don't get banned Those that don't follow the "Holy Spirit" have lesser morals. Tef sig for the win! The end.
