Yay junk food!! Lol. I put some candy, stuffed bunnies, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, hair elastics, a pinwheel, and some flowers because this kid is OBSESSED with flowers.
i'm too bone weary to pip anything. but i truly feel like L's is a masterpiece of really getting my kid for who she is.
1. chocolate. 2 little teeny bunnies and M&Ms. 2. cake flavored lip balm. 3. a 3' long roll of hello kitty stickers. 4. 6 miniature plastic trucks, modeled off of caterpillar construction vehicles (backhoe, dump truck, excavator, etc.).
The big basket is for all of us- chocolate & candy for MrJJ and I, two packs of dog treats, and the stuff that didn't fit into the easter bucket. Freddie is getting a bathrobe (white with ducks in the hood and one of the pocket, I died), a hooded duck bath towel, grape jelly bubbles (1$), a rubber duck with bunny ears (1$), a pinwheel (1$) a blow up chick (1.25$), a board book (3.99) and fisher price topzy tumblers (6$).
Really, the bathrobe and towel I bought anyhow, but they seemed easter-y so I saved them a few days and tossed them in.
Also, I should AW this. On the left is my easter bunny from 1982 or 83. My mum still had the pattern (and the bunny) so she repaired him, and made a duplicate for Freddie. Mine was missing an eye and his nose. One original eye was left, but it was chewed up looking. When she went into her stash she found a second nose and nother eye from the original sets she bought for bunny so she replaced the eye that was there. she improvised and embroidered his other eye back on.
For the baby she embroidered the full face so it was safe for him to play with. And, she gave him a heart on his tummy.
here's C's: books, a hat and purse with play jewelry, peeps, goldfish, a Dora plate, teddy grahams, a headband, and some new Minnie Mouse cups.
also, today, my aunt and uncle came to visit and brought her a crayola basket - with markers and crayons and things to color. and monday we drive to my parents', who have a basket of treats and a play camera waiting for her.
I'm doing a scavenger hunt so all I'm leaving out in the morning is the golden egg with the first clue (on the left). The rest will be in H's truck with balloons after the hunt leads him there!
Crayons, sidewalk chalk, kid scissors, Iron Man shoes, Hulk Action Figure, Captain America Shield, Nerf gun, bunny, metal "lunch box" to hold his crayons (has a few super hero shirts in it), animal crackers, some eggs (tons hidden), mini Power Ranger kite, cake pops made by a friend with a new business.

Filled his basket with lots of socks we bought him this evening. An Easter outfit and bunny ears from his God Mother. And a bunny sock monkey from grandma and grandpa
Charlottes owl basket has her name on the back of it. I just got her a stuffed doggie that is down inside it. Kaels just has a bunch of candy and eggs.
DS got an awesome basket with toys and all that jazz from the ILs tonight. And dd got some cute clothes.
I try not to go too crazy on Easter baskets. We focus on celebrating Easter for its religious meaning.

I still haven't stuffed the eggs. I don't want to give him a lot of candy. ETA: he has crayons plus glittery, metallic and neon crayons. His first set of colored pencils, modeling clay( the kind that doesn't dry) scratch art book, avengers pencil bag and drawings for coloring and an egg-caleidiscope.

I love you. Will you be my mom? Lol.
Awww! Come to my bosom!
No, really, we don't usually make it a big deal but OMG, now that he's 4, holidays are SO MUCH FUN! Like, he gets it now. Christmas was a blast and I'm so excited for tomorrow morning.
