No. We have a Brita filter. I used to do environmental analytical analysis. Every time I try to drink tap water or from a water fountain, I keep picturing the sample bottle labeled "main water fountain outside front office." It was red. *shudder*
And the pipes in our house suck. It's not uncommon for the water going into the filter to be light brown.
We get regular notices from the water company about lead content in our water where we are here. We stopped drinking tap water because of them.
Oh geez, that sucks! I've never gotten a notice in either location I've lived (Cap Hill and Highlands). I hope I don't, I really truly love Denver water better than bottled.
I live in the Highlands and work in Cap Hill. I pretty much only drink tap water.
p.s. I came over b/c Amberly said something. I lurk here mostly.

This thread has brought Denver out of the woodwork.
WELL DONE, DELICIOUS (but possibly full of lead) DENVER WATER.
Are you on city or well? I recall the city water being hard up there? But our well water was LOVELY, though we really couldn't drink it due to chronicles and shit the people on glenrosa used in their yards, or something
We are on well water and it's really hard. I guess we could drink it if we really wanted to, but we lived in Vernon before here and we constantly had a boil water advisory, so we just got in the habit of buying 18L jugs. Now our water is pumped up from Okanagan lake and I'm a little sketched out drinking water out of there. Lol
What's the deal with water in LA though? I thought the water was bad, lol. It's the only place I've been in North America where NOBODY drinks tap water at home. My BIL and his gf had a bunch of different kinds of water, all name tagged and stuff (not an LA thing, an anal BIL thing)
I drink tap. Always - even in Florida. And when I go home (mountain town) I nearly kill myself drinking so much of our delicious, mineral-filled well water. I wish I could bottle *that*.
I also live in Denver, but I work in historic buildings with old pipes and the water is brown. But everywhere else I drink the water. I also have a dog named Walter.
UMMM. WALTER twin power activate!
You need to come to one of our Denver GTGs. We are a spirited group. LOL
I want to come to a GTG!
I love our tap water. Tap water in Austin (where I'm from) tastes funny.

Austin isn't nearly as bad as CC.
We need a huge Denver GTG, apparently. Shall we rent out the convention center and drink from the tap?
Engle'hooder here. We used to live in a house directly 9 blocks north of our current house, and tap water was dandy there. At this house it's very hard so we use a sink filter.

I know a cupcake shop good for a GTG.
OOOH, I know about yoooouuuu. I could never turn down a cupcake gtg.

LOL, I love the GIF.
And to clarify, I don't make the cupcakes or own the shop - I just can't turn them down.
I love all these Denver ladies! We do have awesome water. I used to work for Wastewater Management and we worked closely with Denver Water. They do a great job. Centennial is a different water district, with their stupid lead-filled water. lol
