We have well water. It tastes ok, but is never ever cold enough, so we have a water cooler and buy big bottles.

I'll drink tap water after it's been run through a brita filter. Unless I HAVE to, I won't usually drink water straight from the tap for taste reasons. Though as a kid my mom wouldn't let us for health reasons (polluted water, didn't trust the wells)

So it would seem a GTG with Denver tap water and cupcakes is in order. If we're doing this at the convention center, I'd like a group photo in front of the blue bear or dancing with the gigantic stick people.

At home, yes, but I think the water tastes different (bad) in Northern MI so I drink bottled when I'm up north. I also drink bottled everywhere else.

TX water is really bad!

DH only drinks water that's filtered through the fridge dispenser. He's high maintenance, LOL.

I drink filtered or bottled water but I use tap for cooking and for the cat and dog.

Our water just tastes off. I run it through a Zero filter; Zeros seem to work better than Brita.

I can't drink the water at my mother's place in MD- near the beach- without getting sick.

I do not drink tap water, though I do cook with it and give it to the cat. I never drank bottles water until a few years ago. I could never go back to tap water. Our city water has a funny taste to it.

Yet Another Denver Lurker I'll come to the tap water drinking GTG if we can combo it with the knitting club you ladies are starting (the local board had one with cupcakes for a while, but it fizzled out)

Yes, I drink tap water.  Some places have weird-tasting water, but usually I'll ignore it (if I'm only there for a short time).  It took me a while to get used to the taste of the water here when I moved from W. to N. Texas.

My city just sends a giant water truck to events.  You can fill whatever vessel you have.  And if you haven't got anything, most places will offer event specific plastic steins for 2$.  Our giant hippie festival each year also requires you use these steins at the beer tent.

If it is what is available, sure. Our fridge has filtered water, but I hardly change the filter so...I'm sure I'm drinking nothing better than tap water. It builds some immunity, yes?

No, the tap water here is super gross. We can't even use it for ice. I buy the big 3 gallon fridge dispensers of purified water and water bottles.

I used to HATE the ice from my parents fridge ice maker.  It had a strange smell that bothered me.  Nobody else could smell it though.

Denver represent! Why did I never even know about this fun board? I usually post on the local board (although not super often), but now I will definitely be over to play here more often!

I think we absolutely need a tap water drinking, cupcake eating, panda loving GTG.
