They seem to be burning off the new episodes on Sat nights. Too bad, I was just starting to get interested again. I like that Karenis finally getting what she deserves.

Unofficially, yes. I know Debra Messing has already signed on to another pilot and I think there's a few other crucial people involved with the show that have already moved on to new projects as well. Their numbers have been really bad too, hence the move to Saturdays.
This show is so annoying because it could be good. But they (new writers and team) just couldn't fix what was wrong. I'm not happy with the direction they took Karen in but am happy about Ivy's.
By moving it to Saturdays, it's de facto cancelled. I'm sad that the show is so terrible...I really enjoy the music...I actually have the bombshell soundtrack

I have the whole season on my DVR to watch. I forget it is on Saturdays now so I forgot to record this weekend's. I do want to watch, but if I don't get to it in the next two weeks, then I am deleting to free up space on the DVR while we are on a two week vacation.
I'll watch until it is off the air. It had a lot of potential (kinda).
Me too. Is it too late for them to write a series finale? Hopefully they knew there was a good chance they wouldn't get another season and wrote a satisfying resolution. I hate it when shows get canceled and everything is left hanging.

I completely agree with this. I am pretty much tired of Karen at this point and the boy she has been chasing is on my last nerve. I love what they have done with Ivy though.

Yeah, I've been catching up on Hulu, and that dude is ANNOYING. I don't get why she thinks he's "hot" when he's so whiny and immature about everything. It feels so misplaced for her character to be attracted to someone like that.
I think the show has so much potential. The music is great and I love the cast, but they really dropped the ball with the storyline. Karen's this season is horrible.

OK I have watched the first two episodes of the season this weekend and will watch the rest this week before going on vacation. I hate the Jimmy character/storyline and am not sure what purpose Jennifer Hudson's character is serving. I think the Ivy storyline has potential so I will be curious to see where they take it.
I watched the episode from Sat last night ("Opening Night" I think). I actually really enjoyed it. I think it might be the season finale, it felt that way. It actually had a pretty satisfying ending while still leaving a bunch of open ends to continue the story. It is too bad, I like the show. I really love Ivy, and my H and I always thought she was the better singer (for Broadway) from the beginning of the show, so I really like that she got Marilyn. Karen was always more of a pop start voice. I would love to see what they did with Hit List, as long as they dumped Jimmy.

I thought it was the finale too, it definitely had that feel to it. However, after watching it I went to the guide on my TV and there is a new episode next Saturday so the season isn't over yet. I think the "Opening Night" episode was probably the best episode of the season. I think they probably had a good idea this would be the last season so hopefully the are going to tie up all the loose ends and create a good ending to this season.
Ok, I am finally all caught up. I just have to say, I don't know I can watch another season if Jimmy is still in the show (if it even survives which I doubt). I get the chip on his shoulder because he's had a difficult life, but where is his entitlement coming from? Sorry dude, you don't get to keep being an asshole to people and expect them to keep coming back to you.
