I have used it as a deep conditioner. I wet my hair, put it on, then put my hair in a towel for about 10-20 minutes, then washed and conditioned my hair as usual. It really makes my hair so much softer!
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
I keep a jar next to my shower and put it on my upper arms as a moisturizer and sometimes use it instead of lotion. I also use it as a deep conditioner when I remember. It works wonders!
Does it matter what kind of shampoo/conditioner you use? I'ma cheap ass and use Herbal Essence and no fancy shit right now. I've been thinking about using the coconut oil but if it leaves it feeling or looking greasy depending I wouldn't want to! Your hair looks beautiful though!
I just bought this exact jar at Trader Joes and will try this! My face has turned into a hot mess from ovulation to the start of my period. I just read about using raw honey and coconut oil as a mask, which is why I bought it. If anyone is interested I'll report back on this use of the miracle oil.
After shampooing/conditioning/styling, I take a dime-sized amount, rub it between my hands and run my fingers through the ends of my hair (avoiding the roots, of course).
Gets rid of the frizzies, add more shine, and of course, makes me smell like a tropical retreat.
Did you use it up by your scalp, or just on the ends?
I use it mainly from my ears down, but run my fingers over the top of my hair just when I'm finished applying it. I have oily roots, so I don't want to put too much there. I just make sure to wash thoroughly afterwards and it's not oily at all.
