This doesn't make sense. Bush totally seems like a Lannister.

I'm totally willing to buy that the dudes in charge had no idea until after the fact. It's not like the head producers are the ones sorting through the bin o' rented heads.

Some peon may have picked it up out of the head bin and been all, "Lolsies! GWB!" and slapped a wig and some dirt on that sucker and put it on a stick, but I'm finding it really hard to believe that this was an intentional choice on the part of the people in charge.

Oh yes, absolutely. Assistant prop manager #7 who was tasked with the heads on sticks for that particular set 100% knew that was GWB's head and chose that one because they thought it was funny. Anybody with a lick of sense would have set it aside because dude - that's not cool - but clearly #7 is an idiot.

Wait I can't see the video and only see the side shot. Who says that is GWB? Is the side the only thing we can see because if so I don't see how you can say it looks like anyone in particular.

But whatever the heads were supposed to be tarred like they were in the book.

I find it hard to believe they can't afford rubber heads. The production costs on this show are astronomical. They filmed the last season in Croatia, Ireland and Iceland!
