Amazing! You look great! You give me hope. I've been attempting MFP for calorie tracking and working out, but haven't done enough diet modifications yet to reach my goal weight. After seeing your pictures I'm going to check out skinny taste and get some new dinner recipes

You can friend me on there, I have the same screen name. Having some friends on there to cheer you on makes all the difference!
you look AMAZING. What diet did you do? Anything specific?
No, just stuck to 1200 calories a day, more if I was hungry. I eat a lot of fruit, try to get in as much protein in as I can. I also don't buy junk food for my house. I cook dinner every night, so I know exactly what I am eating. I don't buy "diet food." No frozen lunches, no fat free snack cakes, brownies etc. I needed to change the way I ate, so I didn't think eating fat free brownies would teach me to not crave brownies, KWIM? I make a lot of my meals from the Skinny taste blog. My DH has lost 30lbs as a result of me changing my eating and shopping habits.
This is truly awesome. I may take this approach Congrats again HOTTIE.
You look amazing! Good job and congrats on getting healthier! What other things did you do for workouts besides the elliptical?
Not a lot really. I love my elliptical. Love, love, love it. I invested in a really good commerical grade Precor and it has made all the difference over the one I had previously. I do try to do some strength training each week, but I just hate it. I literally have to force myself. I have a set of weights and a kettlebell that I do some basic lifts and squats with. I also mix in some sit ups and push ups. I probaly do that about once a week.
awesome job!! way to stick to it and you look great - love that you did it by changing your eating and not in a diet but in a way that will stick. Way to Go!!!

This is an excellent perspective. I need to remember this, as I currently have a lean cuisine, and those 100 calorie cheeze-its and brownie bites packed for lunch...
