madringal - I just set up my Fit Bit to connect after seeing your diary activity adjustments. Is this what you use?
ETA - I see you are using Fit Bit, but do you manually add exercise or just let the app feed MFP? Walking is my primary exercise and I consistently hit 10k+ steps, but I'm willing to step (pun intended) it up if that's what it takes.
Because I am on my elliptical 99% of the time and it reads my workouts, I don't manually enter anything. I have only had it a few weeks, so I am still trying to get used to it. I miss entering my workouts in, and I miss the feedback that everyone would give me. It was really encouraging. I got the Fitbit because I am getting closer to maintance mode, and wanted to have a way to keep myself motivated to stay active even if I wasn't working out 6 days a week, like I am now. So for now, I am letting it feed my activity into MFP, but I am not sure I will do that forever.
This is so inspiring! I'm on my way to losing weight as well. I'm doing it for my kids and my overall health. So tired of hiding behind the weight that I've gained these last 6 years. I've lost 19 lbs so far and have 41 more to go to reach my goal weight. I already feel better and can't wait to have a before/after pic like yours! Great job!!!
Havent read all the replies yet, but just wanted to say that you look awesome and sassy, well done!!!
This is such a great AW post....how motivating. I love that you did it the "old fashioned" way, eating less (more carefully) and working out more. You will be able to sustain this because you have made such a straightforward but powerful lifestyle change, and that is so great that it impacted your H as well.
You look amazing! One thing that keeps me going when I feel like giving up is the thought of posting before and after pics here when I'm done. This is very inspiring!

I wish that helped me. I'm doing my best to avoid "before" pics.
