Do you have friends that you have known most of your live?

My very best female friend I met when I moved to be with DH during his Master's, so it's only been about 10 years. I do have some good friends from high school, but they are all guys.

Yes. Most of my friends now I have known since 1st grade. We were brownies, Girl Scouts and graduates together. Only one lives close to me and we typically gtg every weekend.

Yes there are some that I keep in touch with and visit when I'm back in my hometown. Our parents have known each other for just about the length of our lives, so we grew up together/vacationed together/etc.

My best friends have been my friends since we were in 7th grade.

Absolutely.  I grew up in a small/medium size city, but in particular a very small community.  A lot of us went to kinder through high school together.  And a lot of people paired off and married each other and are making a new generation lol.  

This is all part of the reason I want to move so very badly.  We're all up in each other's business here!

I have known my best friend since I was 4, and I have 5 or 6 friends from junior high and high school, and a couple from university.

Military brat here as well and nope, no lifelong friends. I don't even keep in touch with anyone from high school anymore.

No. My closest friend is from late HS. I was so awkward, shy, and geeky as a kid I never found anyone I really clicked with until HS.

Not as long as some people, because we moved a lot when I was young. I'm still friends with my middle school bff, so I was 10 when we met.

I am fb friends with a few people from earlier on, but not close. I think it's so cool when people have stayed bffs since birth/babyhood.

Yes.  All but one of my friends are from middle and high school.  The other friend I met 17 years ago.

I really have only one person in my life that I consider a close friend and we've known each other since we were 11. I find that I'm struggling with the friendship now though, we're completely different people. I do know that I can count on her if need be though and I hope she feels the same way about me.

I really haven't made many new close friends since high school. I've moved around too much and my shyness gets in the way sometimes. I'm working on it though

One of my best friends growing up is in jail We had grown apart after HS so I wasn't really friends with her when she went in, but it still makes me sad.

Most of my current good friends I either met through H or I have only been friends with them since college.

Yes, several. Both were my next door neighbors, one on each side, since we moved in when I was 4. In fact, one of them in celebrating her 33rd birthday today. That's 29 birthdays we've all celebrated together as friends

Yes. My bff and I have known each other literally our entire lives. Our moms went to HS together, and our families were 3 blocks away growing up. I'm closer to her than I am to my actual sister.

I have 2 other friends that I met in kindergarten. We stayed close and have just recently started to fall out of touch a bit. No falling out or anything, just getting busy w/ life and kids, and that kind of makes me sad.

Yes. I have been friends with my bestie since before I could even talk. Our moms were neighbors and we just grew up together and still talk and hang out today. We've been friends for 35 years!! Our moms are still friends too!

Yes, just one or two. I have known one since we were small and one since I was a preteen. We are close.

My other best friends I have known since 14 and 18, and my friends H I have known since I was 12 (I introduced them). I am a friend keeper

My oldest friend is my BFF who I met on the first day of 7th grade.

I have a handful of other friends from high school who I still keep in touch with, but I'm not as close to them as I once was, mostly because we all live in different states now. Same with college friends.

We have family friends whose son was born 2 days after me in the same hospital. He and I were good friends (I had a huge crush on him, ha) through high school, but I haven't seen him in probably ten years. He lives across the country now, but I still see his parents a few times a year.

No, not really. When I left for college at 16, I lost touch with hs friends. Then, when I graduated 3 years later, I tried to reconnect but they were in their first year of school/on a year off and I was working full time. We are fb friends, but not close.
