I don't really have any friends from my childhood, but I was a military brat, so we moved a ton. I do have one friend of the family I met when I was 11, but other that's the extent of it.

Yes, my best friend and I have been best friends since kindergarten. We even went to the same college and both moved to DC after graduation. Last year we both moved back to our home state, but 4 hours away from each other, and it's hard to be apart after being so close (geographically) for over 20 years.
Yes. One, since birth. Our moms met at a Mommy and Me group with our older siblings. Once since I was 3, another since I was 7 and then high school friends.
Yes, I'm still friends with people I've known since I was 2, though we don't see each other often any more. I met one of my best friends when I was 6- she moved to my area last year, which has been awesome!
Yes, I have a few of them. My best friend, who I'd known since birth, died when we were in high school. DD is named after her. I still miss her terribly.
I have one. We grew up kind of like sisters from childhood through high school (yearly family vacations, frequent sleep overs), then lost touch for about 10 yrs, but reconnected thru FB a few yrs ago.

No, not really. I am FB friends with people from elementary school, but not close by any means. My closest friends came from my year of service with AmeriCorps. They are my ladies!

One of my BFFs I've known since we were 4... our moms were in a moms group together. There's a picture of us at a Pizza Hut birthday party together somewhere.
I have 3 other friends that I've been friends with since 6th/7th grade. At this point that's a pretty significant chunck of life. Even if we don't see each other regularly, when we get together it's like nothing has changed.
Bff and I met when I was 4 - her family moved in next door to my grandparents. We drifted apart for a few years in high school (I was an honors student/band and drama geek and she went punk/slacker) but we're still friends.
I keep in fb contact with a few people I've known since kindy/1st grade but we aren't super close.
One of my best friends is(was?) someone I met in 2nd grade. We've barely spoken in the past 8 months and I think she's trying to end the friendship. She's always been bad about calling/emailing back, but this just seems different. It makes me want to cry.

I don't have a lot of friends, but of the ones I do, I have one I've been friends with since kindergarten. We were never best friends- I'm no longer friends with my childhood best friend (grew apart in junior high- we were one grade apart and in different schools).
One of my other friends I became friends with in 7th grade, lost touch with over time in high school, then became friends again in college.
My BFF and I have known each other since 2nd grade. I'm still close with a few other gals that I've known since elementary school/junior high/high school. I've known my college girlfriends for almost half my life now.
