Barring family, my oldest friend I made was in 9th grade - so we were 13. Actually, though, she's my SIL now, so does that still not count? If not, I met my BFF in 10th grade when we were 14, so we're approaching 14 years of friendship this year.
I have a friend I have had since high school. I was a city kid forced to country and she sat beside me. I was this skinny kid and she was a larger girl. My insecurities got the best of me and I teased her just because I was trying to fit in. I felt soooo bad, apologized to her and said I would really like to be your friend and we have been besties ever since. WE lost touch for a few years and caught up just like we had never parted.
We are now both in our ~cough cough~ 50's and helping her now cope with her mom who is losing her battle with lung cancer. So ya she is my bestest friend evah!!
I have a friend I've known since kindergarten. We drifted apart during college and now we do lunch every 6 months to catch up. My two BFFs I met when I transferred to a new school sophomore year. They were new that year too.
I don't, outside of Facebook anyway. I moved across the country the summer after the 6th grade, again after the 10th and then back across for college. I'm still very close to my college friends and see them at least once a year.
No, I moved several times. I have some people I've known since as early as preschool on fb but I wouldn't travel to see them or anything. The oldest, real friendship I have is with my best friend. We've been friends for 12 years now, since high school.

I've reconnected with some people on FB that I was friends with when I was younger but my longest friendship is my ex-bff who is moving in with the pedophile. I moved to TX when I was 12 for a few years and then when I moved back to MI I was in a different school district and since I was in my Junior year I only made a few friends. I didn't go away to college so that limited me in the friendship department too.
